~After a couple of hours~

Steve was the one in-charge of the pilot seat. He let me rest and I sat on the chair and just looked out of the view.

"What's gonna happen to your friends?" Bucky asked. I looked at Steve and heard him sigh.

"Whatever it is... I'll deal with it." Steve said.

"I don't know if I'm worth all this, Steve." Bucky said.

"What you did all those years... it wasn't you. You didn't have a choice." Steve said as he glanced back at Bucky. Steve looked at me and I showed him a small smile.

"I know. But I did it." Bucky said. I remained silent and I felt like I have no rights to talk since it's their friendship they're talking about.

*Tony's POV

~At the cell~

"How's Rhodes?" Sam asked as I stopped by at his cell.

"They're flying him to Columbia Medical tomorrow. So...fingers cross." I said. "What do you need? They feed you yet?"

"You're the good cop now?" Sam asked as he looked at me.

"I'm just the guy who needs to know where Steve and Y/N went." I said.

"Well, you better go get a bad cop, because you're gonna have to go Mark Fuhrman on my ass to get information out of me." Sam said as he went near.

"Oh, I just knocked the 'A' out of their 'AV'. We got about 30 seconds before they realize it's not their equipment." I said as I tapped my watch.

"Just look. Because that is the fellow who was supposed to interrogate Barnes." I said as I showed him the picture of the interrogator of Barnes.

"Clearly, I made a mistake. Sam, I was wrong." I admitted.

"That's a first." Sam said.

"Cap is definitely off the reservation but he's about to need all the help he can get. We don't know each other very well. You don't have to..." 

"Hey, it's alright." Sam said. I took that words and starts to lean near the wall. "Look, I'll tell you...but you have to go alone and as a friend." 

"Easy." I said.

~At the chopper~ 

I walked back to the chopper and I heard Ross behind me.

"Stark? Did he give you anything on Rogers?" Ross asked.

"Nope. Told me to go to hell. I'm going back to the compound instead, but you can call me anytime. I'll put you on hold, I like to watch the line blink." I said as I went inside the chopper and flashed a smile on him. Wait. Stop smiling... I stopped and I sat on the chair and saw the chopper began to fly out. If Steve is onto something dangerous and Y/N is with them, she's in danger. I gotta go protect my pregnant wife. I unclipped my arm sling and I put my finger on the button and let the armor wrapped me. Then, I fly out of the chopper and went to the location.

*Y/N

Steve, Bucky and I walked inside the entrance. Bucky and Steve started to walk with cautious and readying their defense, in case. The three of us rode the elevator and when we arrived, Steve opened the door and Bucky went out first. I followed behind Bucky and Steve was behind us. We stepped up on the stairs when we heard a sound from the elevator. Bucky pulled me on his back and he let me stay down. Steve put up his shield in front of us and we looked at the elevator. 

"Ready?" Steve asked.

"Yeah." Bucky replied. Just then, we saw the elevator door opened and I saw Tony in an Iron Man suit. He opened the door fully and he walked near us. Steve slowly stand as Tony began to put his helmet back. 

"You seem a little defensive." Tony said as I slowly stand behind Bucky. 

"It's been a long day." Steve said as he slowly walked near Tony.

"At ease, Soldier. I'm not currently after you." Tony said referring to Bucky.

"Then why are you here?" Steve asked.

"Could be your story's not so crazy. Maybe. Ross has no idea I'm here. I'd like to keep it that way. Otherwise, I gotta arrest myself." Tony said as he leaned on the wall.

"Well, that sounds like a lot of paperwork." Steve said. Then, Steve put down his shield.

"It's good to see you, Tony." Steve said.

"You too, Cap." Tony said. Just then, I ran near Tony and I hugged him. He hugged me back and I broke the hug and smiled at him. 

"Good to see you again, hon." Tony whispered and he peck my lips.

"Good to see you too babe." I said and smiled. Tony looked back at Bucky and I looked at Bucky, too.

"Hey, Manchurian Candidate, you're killing me. There's a truce here. You can drop..." Tony said. I nodded my head at Bucky and he put his gun down. Then, the four of us began walking. Tony held my hand and he walked in front of us and he keep me behind him. When we turned to the corner, we saw 5 big machines where smokes coming out. Tony's other hand is raised.

"I got heat signatures." Tony said.

"How many?" I asked.

"Uh, one." Tony said. We began to walked near and we saw the lights flickered on and I saw bodies inside the chambers. 

"If it's any comfort, they died in their sleep." We heard a man speak from the speakers. "Did you really think I wanted more of you?" Steve and Bucky walked to the other side, while me and Tony walked together and I looked at the chambers and saw gun shot wounds on the head. 

"They're the super soldiers." I said softly

"I'm grateful to them, though. They brought you here." Just then, we saw a light flickered on. Tony put his hand in front of me and he raised his hand, protectively and I saw Steve threw his shield, but it just flies back. "Please, Captain. The Soviets built this chamber to withstand the launch blast of UR-100 rockets." 

"I'm betting I could beat that." Tony said as we round up near the chamber.

"Oh, I'm sure you could, Mr. Stark. Given time. But then you'd never know why you came." Zemo said.

"You killed innocent people in Vienna just to bring us here?" Steve asked as he went near the chamber where Zemo was.

"I thought about nothing else for over a year. I studied you. I followed you. But now that you're standing here, I just realized... there's a bit of green in the blue of your eyes. How nice to find a flaw."

"You're Sokovian. Is that what this is about?" Steve asked.

"Sokovia was a failed state long before you blew it to hell. No. I'm here because I made a promise." Zemo said.

"Tony... I'm sensing something is about to go wrong." I whispered softly. Tony's helmet retracts and he looked at me. 

"It's gonna be okay hon." Tony said as he put his hand on my waist and he kissed my forehead.
