"Wait, when did you get out Blake?" Rose asked. Ariyan grunted. "Ariyan over here helped me out." Blake answered. "Only because she asked me to!" Ariyan said pointing accusingly at Aspen. "I have no pity for that weakling." he added. Frost looked around the room. Everyone was free. Then the ceiling came crashing down.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Cont
Frost bolted for the door, and so did everyone else. Blake was the first one to get there. "C'mon guys! I-" his voice was cut off. It seemed to just vanish, or maybe it was drowned by the falling rocks behind them. But it looked like he had already gotten to the other side, he was quickly followed by Lunar, and everyone else rushed inside. Frost was a step away when he heard someone behind him scream "Ahh! Help!" Frost turned around and saw Rose on the ground with her foot stuck under a huge pile of rocks.
"What are you waiting for Frost!" Rasi yelled. He wouldn't be like Ariyan, leaving someone like Blake suffering on the ground. He didn't know if he could live with the guilt if he let Rose just die. "Cammie! I need you to grow some sort of plant around my ankle, like a long one! You'll need to pull me back when I get Rose free!" Frost yelled, hoping that Cammie could hear. "I told you I don't know ho-" "Just do it!" Frost screamed. Then he ran to Rose. "You're going to have to burn the rocks off." Rose said. Frost swallowed hard, he didn't know how to control his new ability yet, which made trying to use it very dangerous. "Here goes," Frost whispered as he put his hands on the chains and tried to block out the ceiling crashing down on them. When he closed his eyes, a rock fell on his arm.
Pain flared. His arm lit on fire. The fire immediately melted the rock underneath. "Argh!" Rose screamed as the molten rock partially burned her ankle. A soft vine wrapped around Frost's ankle,"Cammie?!" he asked. Frost didn't have time to look back to see, he put his arm around Rose's waist as the vine pulled them towards the door. An avalanche of heavy, black rocks fell on the spot they had just left.
Frost felt the vine drag him through the door, the air outside the room was musty and gray. Ariyan ripped the vine from his leg, and Frost let go of Rose and stood up. The wooden walls of this room were windowless, and Frost had to squint to make out their color though the dust. He looked around.
"Where's Blake?"
The others shook their heads. "We don't know." James answered for them. "We thought he might have gone through that door, but it's sealed shut." There was a large stone door at the other side of the room. He went over and tried to push on the door. James was right, it didn't budge. Where could he be? Frost thought. "I heard his voice before he went through but then...It kinda disappeared"
"What do we do now?" Rasi asked, but before she could say more, a deep voice echoed around the room.
"You've passed the first test
You must pass the next
To enter the maze, unlock the glow
The answer you seek lies inside the chest"
"Cool!" said James,"I can't see a speaker anywhere, they must have some really cool tech!" Frost was stunned. He understood the first two lines, but 'unlock the glow'?
"Hey Frost! Did Apollo give you anything?" Rose asked. He shook his head, still trying to make sense of the riddle. "Did you check your pockets?" Rose pushed. Frost shoved his hands in his pockets and shook his head. He asked "Why?"
"I thought of Apollo 'cause 'glow'? He's the sun god so....Never mind"
"What else is bright?" Cammie thought aloud.
"What about the lights?" Rasi offered. Frost hadn't noticed the one light bulb in the center of the ceiling, illuminating the whole room. "But I don't know anything about 'unlock the glow'" Rasi said.
"Just break it," Ariyan said with no emotion.
"Again?" Elyse muttered. Cammie shrugged.
"I don't think that's a good idea," James spoke up.
"Why not?" Rose asked. "We don't have anything to lose," She said optimistically.
James sighed, "You do realize that it's our only light source, right?" Rose shrugged unapologetically.
"How about Frost lights himself on fire?" Cammie suggested. Rose considered the idea for a second, and then shook her head.
"The room is made of wood, so that might set the room on fire. And anyways, Frost can't control his fire, and he might burn one of us."
Frost sighed in relief. He had tensed up when Cammie had mentioned the fire, frantically trying to recall how he set himself on fire, and how he controlled it. Frost made a mental note to learn how to use the fire at will.
"What about the chest part?" Rasi said, pulling him back to reality. "Does anyone have any idea about what that is?"
"I thought it might've been an actual chest and maybe Apollo gave Frost something because he might've been the glow." Rose explained. "That's better than what I was thinking," Rasi said quietly. "What were you thinking?" Rose asked.
"I thought it could've been some type of necklace, cause you know, your chest." Rasi said. "That's actually possible. Did any of the gods give you a necklace?" Nobody said a word. Rose kept pushing,"Do any of you have necklaces?"
"I do," Frost said. All eyes turned to him. He showed it to Rose,"It's a bow and arrow, with this sun in the middle. It's supposed to represent Sagittarius even if I'm a Libra. But I got it because I liked archery,"
"Can you take it off?" Rose asked.
"Sure" Frost gingerly took off the necklace and reluctantly gave it to Rose. "Careful." Rose was inspecting it when Ariyan said,"Can't we just break the bulb already? I bet there's a key or a hammer to help me smash open that door. Or I can just smash open it now."
Rose sighed,"Patience Ariyan. Now Frost, is there some type of secret mecha-"
"I don't know!" Frost exclaimed,"I got this on Amazon what do you expect?"
Rose mumbled something about Amazon. "James, can you check this necklace out?"
Frost snatched his necklace back. "Ok Ms. I-know-about-gods-and-half- bloods, I don't know where you come from, but you need to learn some manners. For starters, this isn't yours," Frost said holding up his necklace. So if you're going to let someone else handle it, you can at least try to ask the owner,"
Rose stood still for a moment. "I'm sorry," Rose said, her voice sounding irritated."Frost, can I have James check your necklace in case there's a hidden secret or whatever to help us get out of this room and potentially survive?!" Rose yelled, her voice getting louder and louder. Now it was Frost's turn to be stunned. He expected Rose to be guilty, and apologize sincerely like a normal 8 year old would. Instead, she was mad. She shoved the necklace to James and exclaimed,"Let me teach you a lesson you unnapprecia-"
