The path they were walking didn't have any forks yet, only twists and turns they had no choice but to follow. This was the first thing that wasn't the same as the rest of the maze. It was an empty clearing. It reminded her of the clearings in the Labyrinth in the book Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire by J. K. Rowling, which Henry had to fight monsters in. The clearing didn't seem to have anything in it, but Lunar pulled them back into the path and around the corner.

She motioned them to be quiet. "There's something in the clearing, something weird." She whispered, tapping her nose when they gave her confused looks as to how she knew. Rasi felt, for once, scared. She looked behind her to check on the others.

"No, no no no no no no..."

Behind them was a dead end.

Lunar looked behind her to see what Rasi was doing. "What's wrong?" Aspen said. "They're gone..." Rasi said, "It's a dead end. We're separated." Aspen looked behind her and looked Lunar in the eye. "Can you smell their scent? Anything?" A moment passed and Lunar shook her head.

"They're gone."

Everyone was in a state of panic and fear. Mostly fear. And panic. But Aspen was devastated. And angry.

"Who does this have to happen! We've just been taken away from everyone we care about, and now everyone except us is nowhere to be found! We don't even know what happened to Blake!" Aspen screamed in despair. Lunar stood up.

"Well guess what, you complaining isn't going to help bring anyone back. We need to think critically about what we're going to do and how we're going to at least get out here alive." Lunar stopped,"Ha. I wish Rose were here. She could finally do all the work and think for me."

Silence

"We need to keep going." Rasi said,"If Lunar can't smell a scent then I don't think that we're ever going to find th-"

"No!" Aspen started,"We can't! We have to...to...to try to fi-"

"Aspen!" Lunar yelled,"You have to let go. I know it's hard, and scary. But all we can do now is to hope for the best and pray that they'll be fine," Aspen inhaled deeply.

"Let's move." she said.

The team had been walking for what seemed like an eternity, taking lefts and rights and making too many decisions of which way to go to remember. Then Lunar spoke up.

"Wait." She held her hand up signalling her team to stop. They were at a 5 way intersection, one way going forward, two splitting off at a 90 degree angle, and one in between each side.

"I think...there's something here." Lunar said moving towards the diagonal one on the left that looked like it was at a 45 degree angle. She motioned for her team to follow her. They walked through and there was another intersection, this time a three way. Straight forward, left, and right. Lunar went forward.

After a while, they were at a dead end. "What do we do now?" Aspen said. Lunar looked confused, "I swear I felt something blow against us when we were walking". Now Rasi looked confused,"Why would that matter?"

"Well, I thought that because there was some kind of wind blowing, there must've been something at the end right? I mean, it doesn't make sense? How would something blow wind at us when it's dead end..." Lunar explained. Rasi nodded, ok, she thought. Lunar has a good point, it actually seems reasonable. But...it's a dead end.

Suddenly, the temperature dropped by 7 degrees.

Rasi was tired. No, that's an understatement. She was exhausted. "I think we should just take a small breather, we've been walking for a while." She said. "But we need to find a way out of here! I mean, we don't even know where the others are..." Aspen trailed off, worried. "I know, I'm worried too, but right now we need to rest and save up our energy first." Rasi explained. They sat down, but Lunar looked like she was still thinking, and questioning this...dead end.

"Lunar....what's wrong?" Aspen said, worried. But Lunar didn't respond, her eyes were as cold as ever, staring at the wall as if it were some kind of enemy. She shivered from the cold. "Lunar, what are you doing?" Rasi said, slightly scared. Then all of the sudden, Lunar grew. Her back grew and now she was the size of a bull, her back was arched and she huffed out loud. She's using her powers! Rasi thought. Lunar put her arms up, head down, like she was superman except her legs were on the floor.

Then Lunar ran, she charged the wall faster than a normal human probably could. Her fists hit the wall and made puncture holes, but that wasn't it, her body had yet to make an impact. Her head hit the wall and now there was a huge hole in the wall, then her body hit the wall, and the wall broke, revealing a dark hollow room inside.

Lunar's logic was right, there was a room inside. But Lunar was out cold.
