Walking through the alley at night I see a pure white bunny. Snow Bunny. I have to catch it. I started walking as quiet as I can trying not to have a heavy foot but I frightened it. It's gone now. Do I wait for it to come back? Do I look for other bunnies? That one could've been my favorite one.

I continue to walk down the alley.
I'm almost home.
I see the lights of a car behind me. RRVVVVVVVVVVVRRR
oh no

Suddenly I'm running, and as I turn back the lights grow bigger. Last second I cut left into a open garage and shut the inside door, put my back to the door, put my head down, and caught my breathe.

"WHO ARE YOU?"

I jolt back awake on the bus ride home. Lily is laying in my lap, the girls are singing, and the boys a bopping. Where does everyone go when the party is over and the lights turn off? Home. Oh wait. That's why I just dream. I can Run Away from life for a moment in time. In reality a dream lasts less than a second, but if can remember them you can play rewind whenever you want

"Hey, hey", I utter softly, "we are almost home"

She yawns and opens her eyes

"Ok"

Before we pull in we always do the chant, better not be asleep. NEVER FAILS

Hail, dear old Rockwall, how we love you
Boom boom boom
Ever you'll find us loyal and true
Boom boom boom
Our colors flyING ever so proud
Boom boom boom
We'll always honor you with PRAY-ZUZ LOOUUD

Finally here

Being the only men in the group, we weren't tasked as much, given the were cheerleaders handling the bags like men when they bring home groceries. Carry the flags and that's it. Double check no items are left and off to home.

"Bye girls" , I shared with my team and walked off with lily and the gang.

"Great job tonight guys" Logan applauded us

"Yea great job" I repeated

"Y'all have something planned for tonight?" Graeson breathe

Stfu dude

"Just gonna head home" said lily

"I'm just riding with her" I spoke

We continued conversation waking back to the cars and split as each one came up. So many memories will be filled in this parking lot like doing shot guns at midnight and sleeping in the car for first period because ur roommate wanted to go to 1st period but I didn't, that's for later tho.

I got into Lily's car and closed my eyes

"What's wrong?" She questioned

I wasn't aware like I am now

"36 backflips and my back is killing me"

"Oh, well don't do them"

"What are skills do we have if I don't backflip, huh?"

I remember seeing another group of flag runners at one game one time and we meet in the middle. They showed us their tricks and god damn we're they hood. Better than our bootleg circus acts. These men were ANIMALS. Mans is standing straight up, right? The other one backs far far back and dashes as fast as he can.......this man did a whole front flip over  the guy standing still and he didn't flinch. How? Then they gonna stack up like some fucking Pringles in front of us and look all bad ass shit. Fuxk you mans got on his shoulder, then another guy got on him, and then another gut got on HIM.

"Thank you guys for showing us" , Logan exclaimed but I could feel his tears. I was shedding them too

"We can just learn the tricks those Forney guys showed us"

I held my breath. Because you can't do half of that let alone any, I'd have to be the one monkey flipping over bitches like you because you're short

"True"

We pulled into our gated community. Funny because lily and I live a block down from each other and the school is not even 3 block down. We got to my place in the alley way. seems familiar.

"Bye text me"

Back into the haunted house I go

Beep

"Hey, the game was fun. We won." I broadcasted

"Ok you can give me your phone and go upstairs for the night. Goodnight" my Tia voiced

Of course

Never a conversation, I can never be a nephew or their kid like they want. Sorry I was looking for better opportunities and found the bad on the spectrum. Punishment is punishment but let a kid live. They let their daughter live it up.

My cousin Lexi, 1999 baby, a year older than me, was out for the night soon to be home from the game. Living her sophomore life as a cheerleader. We were besties growing up, there's even pictures of us dancing as babies. However when it was announced that'd I'd be LIVING with them, matters changed. Lexi wanted the spotlight as the teenager of the house. As an freshman I was becoming friends with her friends and she didn't like that at all. I never meant to steal thunder. We could've been the coolest cousins at the school but she lost her love for me. She was embarrassed to be my family. I can't even get love at home, how do I stay sane
