Third Person's P.O.V.

"I'm sorry."

Jungkook looked down while saying those words to the other.

"Huh, really? Sorry? How many times did I hear you said those words? How many times will I hear those words again? Tell me..."

"I didn't mean to-"

"To what? To hurt me? Same old words, Jungkook..." Tae snapped with a trembling voice, "...same old words."

"I didn't want things to turn out like this." Jungkook sighed.

"Yes, obviously you don't... but why? Why did it turn out like this?" He asked, pleading Jungkook to answer him.

"I don't know, Tae... I guess I-I fell-"

"You fell out of love... that's it, right? The sole reason why you're drifting away from me. You should've told me the moment you realized it."

"I was scared that I'll hurt you again." Jungkook looked down afraid to see Tae's pained face.

Taehyung's shoulders shake as his tears flow non-stop.

"Don't you think you haven't hurt me enough? The cold treatment? The secrets? The rumors? Me, being your secret before was fine for the sake of your d*mn career, but the way you denied me in front of everyone that I am just someone you know after the company already agreed to publicize our relationship... J-Jungkook that..." Taehyung stuttered, "T-that was my last straw."

"I thought that finally after 5 years of hiding and loving you backstage, our relationship will finally have a chance for the world to know, for your world to know. But that is what I thought." Taehyung mumbled.

"Why? Is my love for you not enough? Me? Am I not enough?" He asked as he cried waiting for a reasonable answer for him to forgive Jungkook. To forgive him, again.

"Yes, you're not enough. That's why I fell out of love."

Taehyung is shocked on how blunt the younger said those words.

"Y-you're l-lying... look at me and say those words again... look at me in the eyes, Kookie." He stuttered, unable to form the words he wants say while looking at the younger.

Jungkook chuckled and looked at Taehyung's crying form.

A blank expression plastered on his face to repeat the words the other wants to hear from him while looking directly at Taehyung's hurt eyes.

"Huh, I'm telling it to you right now. You won't believe me? Then I'll repeat it to you again, Kim..."

"You. Are. Not. Enough. You weren't. I don't love you. I didn't love you."

Taehyung can't hold the stare the younger is giving him. He looked down, his tears continuously drops in the ground because he remember that...

Those same eyes used to look at him while smiling...

Those eyes that he used to wipe in every tear it drops...

Those eyes that held every single memory they used to share together...

Those clear eyes that used to stare at him lovingly, as if he is the only person he can see...

"I sacrificed a lot for you... for us to happen. I was there, Jungkook... in every achievement, I was there to support you. In every challenge and failure, I was there to encourage you. In every breakdown, I was there to wipe your tears and comfort you. In every performance, I was there to cheer you, and in every backstage, I was there waiting for you..."

The memories of his love for Jungkook came flashing back on his mind.

"Can't you see? I was there in every moment of your life... to the point that I forgot that I have my own to think and care about. All I cared and love was you..."

Taehyung faced Jungkook while wiping the tears from his cheeks, he straightened his face to show a sincere smile that obviously didn't reach his eyes.

"But things turned out the way I didn't expect it to be... this time I need to think about myself and learn to love it more than anyone else."

"I think this is a goodbye then. Because, Jeon Jungkook... I had enough... I had enough of you hurting me over and over again."

Taehyung turned his back on him leaving a stunned Jungkook in his place.

Jungkook whispered the words he never got a chance to say while staring at Taehyung's retreating back.

"I'm sorry, Tae. It's better if you're not with me. I don't want you to suffer and live a complicated life because of the industry I'm in."

He muttered, letting go the tears he's been holding on earlier.

"Someday, you'll smile again and the reason behind that smile will never be me."
