You gave her endless, fairytale
promises, which could never be
fulfilled.
You broke her spirit, and left
her dispirited.
At night, anxiety flows
through her veins and keeps
her wide awake.
All because she fell
for your charm and,
heavenly smile.
She never realised that
your eyes contained lies,
but she was blinded by love
to realise.
Sadly, all that remains with her,
is the bitter, sweet memories that
bring tears to her ocean, blue eyes
at night.
