She peered outside,one stormy night.
Lightning cracks
eliminating the
violet, sky.
Out stretching her
hands, she felt the
driplets of rain
cascading down on
the tips of her fingers.
The roaring of
thunder could
be heard.
In sync, she and
the sky whispered
goodbye to the
remanents of the
past.
With glee, her lips
hummed a sweet
melody.
Whilst her heart no longer
ached with dread or pain.
