Didn't think you'd come back [todoroki x reader]

Chapter 1

Hi I'm the author and I'm gonna give a quick explanation +description:
You are y/n (your name)
Your quirk is void: you create blue portal-like elliptical circles, you may create as many as you want as long as it does not tire you. Long held "voids" may cause nausea. Anything may pass through your void and it will have a pair that you position. Whatever passes through the first comes out in the second
Your appearance: think Diana Cavendish ( I already got the babies planned😉)

It was a warm summer morning and y/n l/n (age 5)was helping her mother at the soba bar by cleaning the bowls. There were less in summer because less people wanted hot food.
"Y/n," Yui l/n (your mother) called. "Come over please."
Y/n mumbled something about not finishing the dishes.
"I know sweetheart but there's someone I want you to meet," said her mother
Yui l/n could always understand her daughter's mumbles
"This is Rei sweetheart," she said. "And Shoto"
Y/n studied the boy for a few seconds. He had half red half white hair and heterchromatic eyes. Their eyes locked for a few moments before y/n ducked her head behind her mother's leg
"Aww," cooed Rei. "Is someone shy?" "She so sweet," she said to Yui.
Y/n cocked her head as she poked out from behind her mother and stared up at the woman. Her grey eyes had a silvery sheen that made it shimmer in the light but there was a cloudy layer above it like a constant sadness over her mood.
"Why don't you and Shoto go play in the back?," Yui asked, disrupting y/n thoughts.

The two children sat in silence, cross-legged on the floor for a long, awkward silence. They would look up see the other look at them and look back down. This cycle continued for a long time.
"hi," Shoto muttered
Y/n mumbled back something barely audible and uniteligable. Shoto didnt bother to question her. Y/n leaned her head forward slightly, letting stands of her long pale hair flop over her face
She held the position for a couple minutes before feeling a small tug against her scalp. Turning her head slightly, she noticed Shoto braiding her hair. He had already completed 4 small braids. Y/n bit her lip before she started giggling. They were soft but eventually grew loud enough for Shoto to here and he was shocked to see the silented girl laughing. Her laugh continued to grow louder until Shoto was laughing too. Neither of them knew why they just were.
When both mothers came in, they were surprised to see their usually quiet children giggling uncontrollably.
Rei laughed and picked up Todoroki who wad shaking with laughter
"What on earth have you two been doing," she chuckling, as Todoroki squirmed in her arms.

"Bye-bye," y/n said through her stiffling laughter as she waved to Shoto.
Shoto could only wave back as he was still clutching his sides laughing. The two children continued to wave to eachother until they were both out of sight
