•Samantha's POV•

"This was it, we were almost there." Samantha thought nervously fiddling with her fingers.  She tried to ease her nerves by staring out the window. The train was still puffing out smoke that enveloped the train, clouding the Samantha's view of the outside.

"Samantha, you are awfully quiet. Is everything alright?" Harry said looking concerned.

"Yea just....new school butterflies." she chuckled lightly.

"Well I just know you'll be brilliant, here have one, it will help." Ron said throwing her a bag of fizzing whizzbees.

"Oh look Samantha this is one of the best parts!" Hermione said instantly dropping her Daily Prophet and pulling the curious Samantha the look out the window.

It was one of the most beautiful scenery she has ever seen. They were passing an old aqueduct that overlooked a beautiful lake with the school on top of a ridge. It was truly breathtaking and exactly how her mother described it. She stuck her head out the window and smelled the smoke coming from the front of the train mixed with hints of lake water and wood.

They finally had arrived to the Hogwarts station and every started filing out and heading out of the train. Just as Samantha was reaching for her trunk and owl cage, Harry was quick to offer to carry her baggage because it was the polite way and to be honest he started fancying her after they met. I know it sounded crazy, why he only met her twice.

"Here let me get that for you Samantha." Harry said with a very light yet still noticeable tint of pinks on his cheeks.

"Oh wow I didn't know you were such a gentleman Harry," she said slyly smirking at him. "it is a nice offer but I can carry it myself, besides look at all the things you are already carrying. I would not want to impose and be a burden." Samantha said giving him a genuine smile.

"No no it's not a burden, please allow me." He smiled, and with that Samantha agreed at his friendly gesture, clueless about his little crush.

Hermione and Ron were a little farther ahead than them due to their conversation. Samantha straightened her dark colored robes and went first with harry right next to her.

"Oh come on Samantha you have to see the castle, it is absolutely gorgeous, plus I have to show you my favorite spot. The library!" Hermione said excited that there was finally another girl to balance out what she calls "The idiocy of two boys".

As they finally arrived at the castle, The four set their trunks and pets with everyone else's. They were at the very back of the group walking to the great hall for the annual feast. Samantha was in awe. She took in her surrounding with her mouth open spinning around to try and see every corner of her new school. There were live paintings, lots of brick, and it was very gold and aged yellow the hallways.

"It's wonderful isn't it?" Harry said slowly inching himself close to her. Then it happened, their arms touched. He blushed quite a bit and hid his face while the girl he fancied was too busy being awe struck.

"Mr.Potter, Mr.Weasley, and Ms. Granger." Samantha turned around to see an older woman who wore a very pointy witches hat said. Her voice was calming and sweet. "If you three don't mind, I will need to borrow Ms. Lovecharm here for the sorting ceremony." she said and the three nodded leaving Samantha and the lady.
