•Samantha's POV•

"Alright everyone, hurry up or you'll miss the carriages!" Cedric called out from the halls as he knocked on each dorm door.

"So where will you guys be spending break?" Hannah said trying to stuff clothes into her trunk. "I'm just going back home in Godric's Hollow, that dreary boring town." She rolled her eyes and pretended to yawn.

"I'm going to visit my Jiji and Baa-baa back in Japan, I usually visit them for every break, my sister is coming with us too! I usually see her only 5 times a year since she works in the International Magical Office of Law," Jade made hand motions to resemble a billboard. "She travels a lot, but she is stationed in Brazil right now." She shrugs.

"Oh that fun, my family is going to visit my uncle in Romania, he works with the Weasley brother, I believe his name is Charlie. He's a dragon trainer, he travels the world a lot and always brings us weird gifts." Iris pulls something out from her pocket and passed it around, "Yeah, he brought us dragon teeth last year, but don't worry, the dragon already passed away when he took it, I wouldn't wear it if it was alive, cause that's horrid in my opinion," She put it back into her pocket and continued packing.

"What about you Samantha? You probably get to go to winter galas, stay in your huge home, and see so many people." Hannah longed to experience that.

Samantha chuckled a little, "I wish, but usually I just stay in the empty house because mama and papa have work at the french ministry. The only people there except me are the house elves, so it gets pretty boring if you ask me." She mimicked Hannah's earlier yawn of boredom.

"I think my grandparents will come back home soon, they visited my uncle in Thailand, he's an auror there. Sometimes he lets my cousin come over, he currently is attending in Beauxbatons, he's a year older though but we grew up together." She said closing the latches on her trunk.

"Well, its-" *tugs trunk* "more interesting-" *pulls* "then mine" *push*, Hannah huffed out. "Come on! We don't want to get the worst compartment on the train. WHAT DID I PACK IN HERE!?"

She opened her trunk to see that Sir Niffleton, their dorm mascot and niffler and name chosen by Iris, that snuck into her trunk.

"WHAT!?, how did you get in there!? You know you're not aloud to come, besides if McGonagall see you, she'll have a fit! And we'll only be gone for two weeks" It looks up at Hannah pleadingly. "Oh bollocks, FINE FINE! but if we get caught, I'm blaming you." It stuck out it's tongue in triumph and crawled back in.

They all lugged their trunks to the carriages then onto the train. "Here's a empty compartment." Jade opened the compartment and paled. "Oh never mind this- this one is full." and tried to leave quickly but Hannah grabbed her wrist and looked over Jade's shoulder into the compartment.

"But you just said it was empty, how could it be empty then ful-" Hannah widened her eyes and smirked at the three behind her. "Ohh I see. Will you excuse us for a moment." She turned back at the three and explained why Jade paled at the sight of the supposedly "empty" compartment.

"Wait, so we aren't going to sit there just because Mauricio there?" Samantha teased.

"I- I can't go in there, I positive that if I do, he will sit next to me." She said trying to hide her blushing face.

"Oh the world will crumble on itself and end if Jade Soto gets her dream boy." Hannah said sarcastically.

"Jade you will be alright, besides, according to what we learned in care for magical creatures, the mating season of young men isn't till the summer." Iris said as she stared off into space
