•Samantha's POV•

After Samantha's mood got brought down by the blonde, her friends came to the rescue.

Hannah taught her a spell that will flip anyone and disarm them, Jade sung her a traditional song her mother taught her, and Iris wove a friendship bracelet. She was thankful to have her friends

After all, Samantha was definitely not a quitter. She is a Lovecharm after all. They do not back down or let anyone make their day bad.

"Alright, I think I am ready. Plus why should I let a silly thing get me down. After all it's just a boy." Samantha said with confidence.

The quad went down to eat breakfast at the usual Great Hall.

As they walked through the huge oak doors, all but one noticed the tens of boys staring at one girl who was too busy looking forward.

"Pst, Samantha, look." Hannah said nudging Samantha to all the eyes of the boys. "I think someone's pretty popular amongst the boys."

"Oh shush. I said I'm not interested in any of them at all. I value my education, for your information." She said keeping her focus while walking through the Great Hall.

Hannah rolled her eyes as they sat at their usual spots at the Hufflepuff table.

Jade was too busy picking the fluffiest pancakes to notice two boys wearing blue were walking towards them.

"Ladies." said the taller boy of the two. "Hey," mumbled Jade not looking who the voice was coming from.

"Hello Jade," the boy said smiling at her who then whispered something to the other boy beside him.

"Uhh- Jade...." Hannah said trying to signal Jade to look up.

"What Hannah, what could possibly be so importa-" Jade said finally looking up. It wasn't that obvious but Samantha saw the light tint of blush on Jade's cheeks.

Jade instantly sat up and discreetly fixed her hair. "Oh- um h- hi Mauricio, Terry." She said nodding courteously to the other boy with blonde hair. "Fancy seeing you here early."

Samantha put two and two together. 'Ahh, this must be the famous Mauricio.' Samantha thought reminiscing all the times Jade kept talking about him.

"I was wondering if you would like to accompany me to class. I see that we both have Charms together." He said extending his hand. "Yes! I- I mean yes that would be lovely." Jade said taking his hand and standing up.

"Is it ok if I go you guys?" She said looking back at her friends.

"You'd be mental to say no. Go ahead. Have fun you two. Mauricio.....I'm watching you, you better get her safely to class." Hannah said pretending to be stern.

"Good luck you lovebirds." Samantha said. "OH SHUSH-" Jade said turning away from Mauricio to hide her blush.

"I better go as well." Iris said in her usual dreamily voice. "I have to get to Care For Magical Creatures on the other side of school. Goodbye you two." She said lightly skipping out the hall.

"We better go as well Samantha, our professor is Severus Snape. Personally he scares me. He's like a lonely man that has no idea of happiness." Hannah said making a gagging sound. "I'll meet you in class. I just have to return a book to the library. Is that ok? Do you think you can find the potions classroom?"
