•Samantha's POV•

".........the Tri-Wizard Tournament." the headmaster said announcing the competition that Hogwarts was holding. "Before we go any further, the minister of magic will explain few rules and guidelines to this tournament. Mr. Cornelius Fudge." light applause accommodated Dumbledore's introduction to the Minister.

"Good evening students, I am sure that most of you have heard this every 4 year, annual tournament before." Cornelius said stepping forward. "Due to certain circumstances that happens in this tournament, Headmaster Dumbledore and I, along with the other professors, decided to add an age limit to this years tournament for the safety of the students." Whispers spread through out the great hall. Samantha was honestly glad that there was an age limit that was added, she heard all the difficult, and honestly gruesome challenges 3 contests had to face, from her mother's stories.

"Students under the proper age of 18 will not be elligable to put their name into the goblet. Ministry orders." and with Cornelius's words, harsh complaints and groaning and boo's ran through the whole hall.

"THAT'S RUBBISH! YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE! BOOOOOOOOOO!" Samantha saw the twins shouting.

"You know, I'm honestly glad that they put an age restriction or else my dumb brother would have entered and gotten himself killed within the first 5 minutes." Jade said rolling her eyes.

"I agree with Jade," Iris chimed in. "my brother would have joined as well. And as much as I love him, he would get killed quickly too. Plus Mama would have a fit and Ivy would not stop nit picking on him and telling him how stupid he is for entering." Iris said twiddling with her thumbs.

"Alright simmer down children, this is for your own good and Dumbledore and I want nothing more than your safety and well being." Cornelius said looking at the student body.

From there professor Dumbledore took over and finally calmed all the whining teens.

"Student who have older students put their name in the goblet or counterfeit their name and age will be facing severe consequences. Our guests from two other schools will be joining us tomorrow evening, attendance will be mandatory as identical as today." Dumbledore said sternly. "Now enough of myself talking, let the dinner begin.

And with that, the usual meal appeared before them.

After their meal, Samantha excused herself from her friends and thought it would be nice to pick up a book for the coming weekend.

She slung her canvas book bag back on her shoulder and strolled down the corridors of the old, cold, and dark castle tracing her fingers in the grooves and lines that were imprinted in the bricks.

She made it to the library where, shockingly, madam Pince was already back from supper.

She nodded courteously to the older librarian and made her way to the columns of books that lined the library.

She made her way to the herbology section of the library. Herbology was her favorite subjects. 'Something about being fascinated by plants and potions at a young age.' She always told herself.

"Ah, here we go." Samantha said sporting one of the books she needed called How To Successfully Befriend Everything From A Bowtruckle To A Niffler By Giuseppe Maldove. Her mother had recommended her the book because of her fascination of the subject.

Her mother had been similar to her, always doing something that was involved with nature, although Samantha's difference from her mother was that she always had to have literature or a music sheet in her hand, that was from her father.
