[Y/N's POV]
I couldn't think straight. I'd just seen my boyfriend, Cedric, kissing my best friend, Cho Chang. Cho happened to be the crush of my cousin, the famous Harry Potter. My mind was completely blank. How was i supposed to react? I couldn't even focus during Potions class. As I ran out of class to the bathroom, I bumped into somebody and my books fell out of my bag.

I recognised him as Draco Malfoy, my guy best friend. "S-sorry Draco" i muttered as i wiped away the tears, hoping he wouldn't see it. I picked up my books and ran to the bathroom, breaking down as I looked in the mirror. I couldn't breathe. I couldn't believe I loved him. I couldn't believe I believed his lies.

I remembered our first kiss down by the lake; after he had saved me. It was after he saved me; it was part of the Tri-Wizard Tournament. He smiled at me and we kissed. I was wrapped in a towel and he just sat there with me, his arms around me. I shouldve known he preferred Cho over me.

[Draco's POV]
I ran to the bathroom, knowing Y/N would be there. By the time I was there, she had already gone back to her common room. She looked so heartbroken when I saw her. She was shaking and she was a mess. I wanted to stop her and ask her what's wrong but she ran before I could open my mouth.

Over the next few days, I didn't see her at all. She didnt turn up for the classes. She normally was with Potter, Granger and Weasely. It had been 3/4 of them for the past week. Was she okay? She was usually close to Granger; so I decided to ask them.

"Where's Y/N? Isn't she usually with you three?" I asked.

"Haven't you heard? Y/N caught Cedric and Cho kissing. She's heartbroken. She lost her boyfriend and her best friend at the same time. Now she feels completely worthless. She's refusing to talk to us Malfoy." Granger said, and I immediately made my way to the Ravenclaw common room.

I saw Lovegood walking in, so I told her I was making a visit to Y/N and she let me tag along with her. I headed up to the girls dorm room and as I climbed the staircase, I saw Y/N, fast asleep in her bed. Her pillow was soaked with tears. She had hee sweater on, and her grey sweatpants. She was tucked in and she looked so peaceful yet lonely. I crawled in with her and pulled her body close to mine. She awoke.

"Draco? What are you doing here? You should be on the way to Divination." she said sleepily.

"Priorities." I said, smiling at her. She laid her head on my chest and my heart fluttered.

"Thank you for being here. It means a lot to me that you're here with me on my birthday, Draco." she said, as i kissed her forehead. I placed the golden snitch necklace which I had buried in my pocket on her. She looked gorgeous with it.

We both fell asleep till 7am the next day.

The next day was a hogsmeade day. Y/N and I would be going together. I couldn't wait to share a butterbeer with her and watch her laugh at my foam moustache. Her eyes would light up as she laughs.

We spent the entire day at Hogsmeade and at the end, just before we entered hogwarts and went in for the night, I cupped her face and interlocked our lips.

The feeling of kissing the love of your life is something so satisfying; you just wanna be with them forever. When I'm around her, I'm a completely different person.

"Congratulations. You are now married. You may kiss the bride."

It had been years; but I was finally married to her. We finally had the ending we deserved . I knew then, as I stood in front of her, that I would never stop loving her. I could not wait to see a little Y/N running around someday. She smiled at me and I looked down, smiling back up at her as I made eye contact with her.

As we walked away from our guests and into our limo for the honeymoon, she smiled at me once more and interlocked our hands. Her smile was the same smile since we were back in Hogwarts. I could not wait for a life with her.
