[Y/N's POV]
Tonight was the night I dreaded the most. The Yule Ball. You may be thinking why would I dread such a glamorous event like this? Well, I'll tell you. My ex boyfriend, Draco, is going with my ex best friend. Pansy Parkinson. She's been after him for years and she finally got her chance when we broke up. Truth was, I still loved Draco. Which was why it would hurt even more to see them together at the ball. Hence my reason for not going.

Hermoine had been begging me for weeks to go with her; but I said no because I didn't want my heart to break. I know how he feels about Pansy and I know she feels the same. So, while everyone else would be at the ball, I'd grab harry's invisibility cloak, and stare at the night sky at the Astronomy Tower.

—————————Time Skip : Yule Ball——————

The dreaded evening had finally come. I had spent hours making Hermoine looking like a princess; this was her Cinderella moment.

"Are you sure you don't want to come y/n? I have a spare dress with me that I think would look good on you." She asked, before I shook my head, hugged her and sent her off. She really did look like a Disney princess.

When everyone had left, I slipped on the invisibility cloak, and headed to the ballroom. The first thing I saw was Hagrid. He really seemed to like ms-giant-dora, whatever her name was. She looked like something out of a horse's penis, but hey. It's Hagrid . He deserves someone who loves him as much as he loves her. I looked around and saw Hermoine dancing with Victor Krum, but she REALLY had her eyes on Ron, who was dancing with one of the Patil twins. Harry was dancing with the other.

Then I saw him. He looked like a prince from a Disney movie. Just as perfect as I remembered him to be. I felt something slide off, but it was probably just the cold winter air of the night. His eyes were focused on her. I remember when he used to look at me like that. Then I felt a hand grab my arm and pull me outside.

"Go and get dressed!! Theres a dress in my closet Y/N!!" Hermione said, startling me.

It seemed that the invisibility cloak had slipped off me. I simply smiled at Mione and told her I'd meet her here soon. I had no intentions to do that.

[Draco's POV]
As I was dancing with Parkinson, Y/N caught my eye. She wasn't dressed fancily, nor was she wearing any sort of hairspray or makeup. She had a hair in a messy bun, with my hoodie and some sweatpants on. She looked every bit of perfect. How I missed her. Her eyes gleamed in the moonlight; how her hair flowed smoothly in the cool night wind. How I longed to kiss her again. To hug her again. To let her fall asleep on my chest, my hands running through her hair. I looked away from Y/N in case we made eye contact. I didn't want to ruin her night. She must've gotten loads of guys wanting to bring her here. When I looked back in her direction, she was gone but her brother's invisibility cloak was on the floor. I told Pansy I was going to get a drink and picked up the cloak, and looked for her.

She wasn't in the library; she wasn't in our dorm room. I even checked the gryffindor common room(Yes, I talked to saint potter) . No sign of her anywhere. Where would she be on a night like this? Then it occured to me. Today was her birthday. When we were dating, every year, on her birthday, we would go up to the Astronomy Tower and I would say "Accio Lantern" and the lantern scene from her favourite Disney movie, Tangled, would play before her eyes. As "I See The Light" would come on, she'd fall asleep cuddled next to me.

As I suspected, she was at the Astronomy Tower when I got there, but she was crying. Her face was buried in her hands and her legs were crossed. Thinking I was Granger, she spoke.

"That should be me you know. Dancing with Draco I mean. Not Pansy. It physically hurts seeing him with her. But i know she makes him happier than I ever did." she begin sobbing.

"Mione? O-oh it's you Draco. Don't worry about me. I'm fine." She said as she desperately attempted to wipe away her tears. I bent down next to her and said

"Hey, it's me. You don't have to pretend for me. I know you Y/N. Don't cry, darling. I'm right here." I smiled at her as I took her hands and placed them both in mine.

"D-draco? C-can you stay with me tonight? I know you're with Pansy or whatever, but just for tonight? I promise I'll leave you alone after this I swear." She said as she slowly stopped sobbing.

"Y/N you mean the world to me. No one can make me happier than you do. Besides, i know Pansy is using me to get to Blaise." I said, as I kissed her tears swags

[Hermione's POV]

"Y/N? Y/N?" I looked for Y/N after the Yule Ball had ended. She said she'd meet me , but it's been three hours since and no sign of her. She wasn't in the library or the dorm. Not in the courtyard. None of the classrooms. There was one place I didn't think to look but I didn't think that she'd be there.

Almost giving up, I headed up the Astronomy Tower. To my surprise and excitement, I saw Y/N and Malfoy. Y/N was wrapped in his arms , covered by his jacket. Both were fast asleep. They seemed happy.

I'd never seen Y/N this happy before.
