I'm going to be honest, I'm sort of tired at this Karasuno vs Seijoh plot already LMAO. There's already ten chapters on it and it's still not ending. Makes me wonder how long Karasuno vs Shiratorizawa will be.

By the way, have you watched the latest episode of Haikyuu Season 4's Second Cour? I think I'm in love...

"Good luck, Yamaguchi-kun!" [y/n] grinned, showing a thumbs up to the pinch server that had just switched in with Hinata.

Yamaguchi managed to score a service ace, with Kyoutani failing to save the ball.

"Nice one!" Yachi and Saeko shouted from the crowds, however, before Karasuno could celebrate, Iwaizumi dived, managing to get a hand underneath the ball before it could hit the ground. The ball flew back towards Karasuno's side, giving Seijoh one more chance.

Karasuno performed their synchronised attack, managing to keep the blockers one step later. Asahi spiked the ball done with all his force, but Iwaizumi kept it in the air.

Hanamaki spiked the ball, scoring Seijoh one point.

20 - 21

[y/n] gritted his teeth in frustration as he watched Yamaguchi switched out with Hinata.

22 - 23

Neither sides were letting the other go ahead with however they please.

Just a few more points, and the game would finally end. Karasuno still have a chance, being only one point away. However...

"It's Oikawa's turn to serve," [y/n] said, glaring at the brunette setter.

"You don't have to state the obvious," Kageyama said beside him. [y/n] didn't turn to look at him, but he could tell that Kageyama rolled his eyes, whether externally or internally, he wasn't sure.

It was annoying whenever it was Oikawa's turn to serve. A wrong misstep from Karasuno can affect their game by a large amount.

[y/n] kept his alert high, being cautious of every step each member from the other side of the net took. Though, he wasn't gifted with any superpower, he's just human. And humans have limitation and the same thing applies to everyone on the court right now. The only thing keeping them moving, was the adrenaline they were receiving, as the stakes were high.

"Nice serve!"

The whistle was blown. Oikawa took a few seconds to prepare before he threw the ball into the air, taking a few steps forwards before he jumped.

Then the killer spike came.

It was a very close call, the ball barely hitting the outside of the court. Seijoh got a point, bringing them to match point. [y/n] doubt it was an accident.

Oikawa, is a monster.

If [b/n] heard him, he would have laughed.

[y/n]'s heart ached at the thought of [b/n], remembering the words he had said to him the night before.

Karasuno called for their first timeout.

"Hm... How do I put this?" Coach Ukai said uncertainly. He was struggling to find words to help reassure the team right now. Being two points away from Seijoh, while they were at match point was definitely nerve-wrecking, and might possibly affect Karasuno's gameplay.

But this isn't the first time the team had been held at the corner like this.

"The only thing we can do, is think of a way to receive it," Daichi said, screwing his bottle cap shut.
