The second set didn't really go very well.

Asahi started with his jump serve and accidentally got an out ball instead. Just like that, Seijoh took the first point. Oikawa served next, though he got an out ball as well. Both teams were currently tied thanks to the failed serves.

The actual match hadn't start yet.

[y/n] nibbled on his fingers as he watched nervously.

'They would do better without me.'

Tsukishima started the next rally by serving a net-in. Iwaizumi dived and managed to get a hand underneath the ball. Though the impact of his chest hitting the ground made [y/n] flinched.

'Must be painful.'

Oikawa ran after the ball, preparing to toss when he cried out, "Mad Dog-chan!"

Seijoh's #16 started moving, however he was sprinting parallel to the net, shocking some people.

Hinata, Kageyama and Tanaka stood together, knees bent as they prepared to jump.

#16 jumped, still parallel to the net before he spiked the ball towards where Daichi was positioned at, performing an insane cut shot.

[y/n]'s jaw dropped at the amazing feat. Coming in from the right to spike it across three blockers? [y/n] had never seen something like that before.

Iwaizumi served and Daichi managed to receive it. However, the ball flew back to Seijoh's side.

"It's coming back! Chance ball!"

"Damn it, sorry!" Daichi shouted.

Watari received it with ease, sending it to Oikawa. Immediately, both #16 and Kindaichi started sprinting at the same time as Oikawa prepared to toss. The blockers couldn't react in time as Oikawa tossed it to #16, who spiked it towards the end of the court before Daichi could react.

Iwaizumi served again and this time, Daichi managed to get it. Kageyama and Hinata did a quick, but Iwaizumi was there to get it.

"Nice receive!" Oikawa shouted. Kindaichi and #16 ran in again and Oikawa tossed it towards #16's side. He spiked it just as Hanamaki jumped to spike as well.

"Agh-"

#16 knocked into Hanamaki, causing both of them to land on the ground hardly.

"Y-You okay?!" Oikawa shouted, panically.

Hanamaki groaned, before he raised his hand to show an okay sign. "Y-yeah, I'm fine. I'm fine."

#16 had scored three points in a row for Seijoh. [y/n] glanced at the scoreboard, feeling more nervous than he already was before.

4 - 1

"You're selfish. You're too blind to see that we need you."

[y/n] flinched as Kageyama's words were replayed in his head.

Selfish.

Was he really though?

Was [y/n] acting selfish?

Did Karasuno really need him to win?

Or was it just Kageyama?

Back then when he first saw Kageyama, he saw himself. But Kageyama was a ruthless dictator, and [y/n] was a likeable player, friendly with most of the people on his team.

'No, you've gotta stop thinking about the Kageyama Tobio back in junior high.'

Kageyama was different now.
