3rd Person POV

Warning:  self harm, mention of suicide

"What do you mean going to kill himself?!"

Remus's voice echoed through out the entire basement, making Virgil and Logan cover their ears, wincing.

"I mean exactly what what I said," Virgil yelled back, "Patton needs you, and you're sitting down here feeling sorry for yourself when your lover could be tying a noose as we speak!"

Silence fell over them and Virgil started to cry, running into Logan's arms for comfort. Remus stared blankly for a second, thinking of Patton's beautiful smile, and the first time he ever called 'Butterfly'.

"Then we have to go to him," Remus said, standing up.

He ran out of his bed room and up the basement stairs, the others following close behind, but stopped when they saw Janus sitting on the stairs to the light sides rooms.

"He's gone," Janus hissed.

"Gone? Gone where?!"

Remus took a threatening step towards him, his fists clenching. Janus shrunk in submission.

"I don't know, I was up here when I heard you screaming and remembered that Patton had left a little while ago," Janus looked down to the ground sadly, "He didn't look to good, and even I know that we need him, so I thought I would try to help."

"I can track him on my phone!" Virgil yelped, he fished his phone out of his pocket and hurriedly got to a tracker app, "It's a good thing installed this on my phone. It allows us to track each other at anytime. He put on here in case I ever tried to kill myself."

A couple seconds of silence and Virgil shoved his phone into Remus's face, pointing to an icon with Patton's face.

"There, he's near the bridge, we can get there in ten minutes."

"Let's go," Logan said, racing out of the house.

Remus turned around for a second and wrapped his arm around the unexpected snake.

"Thank you," he whispered and ran out the house, "I'm driving!"

Patton started down at the water below, his feet swinging in and out his view as he sat on the edge of the bridge. A couple cars had passed him, but none seemed to notice him sitting there, or his car parked a couple feet away. He was so wrapped up in his thoughts, that he jumped when his phone started ringing.

He picked it up, seeing Virgil's number and clicked the speaker button.

"Patton? Patton!" Virgil's voice drifted through, "Are you ok? Stay where you are please! We're coming to get you!"

Patton smiled slightly at the sound of his voice, but tears ran down his face at the thought that it could have been Remus.

"Virgil, I love you so much," he said shakily, " You've always been so kind, even though the others didn't like you for so long."

"Hey, hey it's ok. I'm right here, just please stay there, we're coming ok?"

"I love you all so much," Patton choked as he kept talking, "Tell Remus that I love him and that sorry."

"Tell me yourself! I'm right here Patton!"

Shocked Patton almost dropped his phone.

"Remus?" he whispered.

"Yeah, I'm right here Patton. I'm coming as fast as I can, just stay where you are. We're almost there."

"How?"

And then he remembered, the tracking app he and Virgil had downloaded so he could make sure the Virgil didn't do anything like this. He was so stupid! Why hadn't he thought to turn that off?

It didn't matter now, they knew where he was, and Remus was with them. He crumpled around his phone, crying.

"Patton!" Virgil's voice made him jump, "Look to your right."

Patton jumped up and whirled around to Remus speeding down the bridge. When they were within a couple feet Remus slammed on the brakes and tumbled out of the car, racing towards him.

"Patton!" he shouted, crying.

Patton smiled, tears falling from his eyes like a waterfall, and was about to take a step forward, when a crumbling noise caught his attention.

His feet started slipping and his eyes widened as Remus started to look taller. He screamed as his life flashed before his eyes. Time slowed as he looked at the terror spreading across Remus's face.

Everything was silent but he smiled, happy that I'm his last seconds he could see his lovers face, and closed his eyes, ready to let the world take him.

It seemed like an eternity had passed until, something gripped his wrist tightly.
