AMELIA’S POV

I stared at him dumb folded.  My eyes watered on its own accord because he looked like he was ready to kill an entire village.  And I don’t know if I was a citizen of the village.  I was just happy he didn’t take mere days to see me even if it was to yell at me.  I was glad for that; he could yell at me all he wants if he would forgive me at the end.

“Um, hello, Mr. Wilson.”  Jordan’s voice sounded near me but I couldn’t hear him clearly because of the blood pounding in my ears.

Zach’s furious eyes turned to my side and his entire demeanor seemed to relax but he was still wounded tightly.

“Good morning, Jordan.”  He greeted him and stared past him and gave an earth-shattering glare.  I didn’t know what he was glaring at.

As the same time, I turned to his line of sight I realized the body which was under me was not there anymore but now behind Jordan holding him tight as if Jordan will run away if he unclutched his fingers from his waist.

I didn’t know when Nick managed to change positions because I didn’t obviously know.  But by the guess of smug smile in Nick’s face, he heard the sound from the hallway long before I did and changed places to lessen Zach’s madness.

But still Zach looked at Nick like he wanted to strangle his own brother.

“What are you doing?”  Jordan hissed at Nick lowly.  Nick clutched him tighter and whispered something in his ear.

Jordan turned twenty shades lighter and turned halfway to look at Nick’s smug face.  Whatever Nick said made Jordan merely speechless and also pale looking.  Then when Nick gave a peck at Jordan’s lips, he didn’t do anything but just lay there.  I wondered what Nick told him to make Jordan a statue, whatever it was I knew he did it to make Zach believe that he was not interested in me.

Jordan’s head turned towards me with a wide-eyed stare, I completely balked.  What the fuck did Nick say to him?  Before I could ask something, Zach’s voice boomed throughout the room.

“What the hell did you do, Nicholas.”

“What did I do brother?”  Nick smirked.

First, I thought he was talking about the way Nick pecked Jordan on his lips and Zach was not very friendly with that idea, but Nick stared at his brother like he knew something we all didn’t know.

“Why the fuck did you lie to me?”  Zach shouted.

“I never did.”  Nick said coolly and slid his hand around Jordan more firmly.  Jordan was still in a haze staring at the ceiling like a dead person.

“You said she was in an accident.”  He growled.

“Yes, she was.”  Nick said.  My brows burrowed did Nick lie to Zach to make him come to see me.  Even though it didn’t sit well with me I didn’t mind Nick forming a plan to trick Zach into seeing me.

“But she is well and good.”  Zach said and pointed a finger in my direction like someone needs proof.  He still didn’t see me after the first time when he entered the room.  Was he really that mad at me that he couldn’t even see me?  My stomach dropped at that thought.

“She is now.  Did you know how scared I was yesterday.  You just abandoned her in the middle of the sidewalk, do you know how sick she was yesterday, you fucker.”  Nick got up from the bed leaving Jordan alone.  He was in Zach’s face at the end of his shouting.
