31 days of horror (halloween)

Day 3

Afterlife, afraid and monster

"Hey Sandra come I want to get going now" Bryan said a little scared

"Easy now Bryan, we have all the time in the world, so we don't have to hurry" Sandra replied calm

"Sandra really you have to hurry up, I have a bad feeling about being her" Bryan then said really terrified.

"Am I not the one that is supposed to say that in an old abandoned house" Sandra then said making fun of him.

Bryan looked at her, and she could see the sudden fear, no not fear, terror in his eyes. Something was standing behind her, and it was huge. She herself was now getting afraid and she knew she should have listened to Bryan, when he said something was feeling off. Now it was to late and Bryan saw the huge thing lift it's arm up and over it's head, just so it could swing it's giant akse. Sandra could see how afraid Bryan was, but also that he was trying no to show it to her. He knew it was going to be her last time on earth, and  he didn't want her to have the last thing she felt be fear. Sandra could feel that it kind of worked, she wasn't that scared anymore. The huge beast standing behind her swung the akse and decapitated her, Bryan git blood all over his clothing and he fainted. When he woke up the beast was gone, together with Sandras body, and the sun was up. Bryan looked through the whole house, to find the beast and Sandra, but with no luck.

--- 20 years later ---

Bryan is out by the same abandoned house, with another girl. The girl runs of into the house, and Bryan is about t follow when he sees something out of his eye.

The girl then yells to him "What are you waiting for, if you can find me I will give you a present"

Bryan is a little hesitant to inside of the house, because of what happened the last time. He then hears a scream come from the girl, and stupid as he is he runs inside to get her. He gets to her and sees the beast together with Sandra. Bryan looks at Sandra for a while when the beast starts to move towards him and the girl.

Bryan grabbed the girls hands and tolled her to run, but she was frozen. Sandra then started to move towards them, just a lot faster than the beast. Sandra got to them before the beast, and by snapping her fingers, the girl ran as fast as her small legs could hold her. She then looked back at the beast and stood protecting in font of Bryan. The beast looked strangely at them, and saw a glimpse in Sandras eyes, that she did not have the last 20 years. Bryan looked at Sandra, and then the beast, which started to switch into a human form.

"Please Sam, this is the person I sacrificed myself and my change going to the afterlife"

"You protected this idiot, so what, so he could go around and forget you, so he could play with other girls?" Sam said a little mad

Before Sandra could say anything Bryan jumped in and said "If I could go back, and switch spots with her, I would do that, but I was to late and she died because of my stupidity"

Sam looked at him and said with a smirk on his face "Well if you want to switch spots with her you can, you just have to die, can..."

 Bryan interrupted him and finished his sentence "Can I kill myself for the person I love, yes I would do anything for her"

Sandra looked at him, and was about to tear up, when Sam handed Bryan a knife. Bryan looked at the knife, and then up at Sam. Sam did a cut motion in front of his throat and Bryan was about to do it, he even got cut deep enough for blood to come out. But Sam looked at Sandra and he could see the sadness in her eyes, so he asked Bryan to stop, he could see that Bryan would do anything for Sandra. Sandra looked at Sam and she knew what he was about to do to Bryan. Even though he promised her not to kill him for 20 years ago, he was ready to break that promise now. He grabbed the akse and turned into the beast. Bryan noticed this, grabbed Sandras hands and pulled her close enough for a kiss.

Bryan then continued to whisper into her ear "Don't worry, I will be back for you this time"

He then ran out the door, with Sam close on his heels. Bryan thought he could outrun Sam, but he was very wrong. Bryan made it a couple of meters/feet before Sam was in front of him. Sam then proceeded to swing his akse, and just miss Bryan because Sandra pushed him down. Sam didn't care about Sandra anymore, so he lifted the akse up above his head and just  allowed it to fall down onto them both. The akse had so much force behind it, that it cut them both in half, and they bleed to death.
