Day 10

Scream and poltergeist

Sarah; "Hey mom, is there gonna be spirits or something this year?"

Mom; "Sarah you know what happens each year, so yes there is"

Okay hey, my name is Sarah I am 18 years old, and since I was 12 years I have been able to see poltergeist, ghost, spirits or any other dead entity. In the start I would scream the ears of off my parents and my 7 siblings, I have 3 older siblings (2 sister and 1 broder), and 4 younger siblings (1 sister and 3 broders). I myself is the middel child so my older siblings didn't think so much about, they just thought I wanted attention, but my mother had the same ability like me, so she understod what was going on. Well I will give the word to the narrator now, oh and don't worry I won't bother you again.

Narrator; "Thanks for that Sarah, and you didn't bother me. (Clears throat) Lets get back on track."

Sarah had invited a couple of her friends home to a movie night on Halloween, but her family didn't know about it. Their parents have had one rule from the first child was born, no visitor on Halloween, and none of the children knew why that was. They had all just done as said, but Sarah had accidentally bragged about how big her house was, and her classmates wanted to se if it was true. Sarah's parents would also normally be out to a company party or something, so she didn't think they would notice.

--- Halloween 11pm ---

Sarah had greeted all of her classmates and shown them  all the "important" rooms. She then turned on some music and found some snacks. Sarah's classmates was very happy to see that she could let lose and have fun, so they didn't notice the person standing without a head behind her. Sarah turned around and looked at the ghost and was about to go back to partying, but then one of her classmates said.

Classmate "Dam Sarah, nice job about the special effects."

Sarah just looked confused about that comment, because there wasn't any special effects, it was just a ghost. She then understod that it was the ghost they meant, and she started to worry. She then heard the front door open, and in came her parents, and her siblings didn't mind the music so they didn't say anything to her. But when they didn't hear it anymore, they went downstairs, and there they saw their parents standing, and they could see that they where furious.

Narrator; Sidenote: Was I the only one that had seen that one coming? 😅🤣

 Sarah; "If you saw it coming, then why didn't you tell me?"

Narrator; "Then there wouldn't be any drama in this story, what fun would that be?"

Mom; "Sarah, narrator, could we please get back on track, I would like to yell at my daughter"

Narrator; "Sorry about that miss, lets get back to the story"

Sarah knew she was in trouble, and she could just see the anger in her parents faces. She turned of the music and asked her clasmates the leave, but they didn't. She then looked at her parents again, and they could see that she needed help getting them out. The mother then nodded to some of the paintings by the stairs, and they started to move. Sarah's siblings was just looking at the now empty paintings, and Sarah saw how the paintings in the living room now was moving. Her classmates was now also starting to notice it, and they weren't scared because they thought it was  special effects. But when one of the boys got a little to cocky and tried to hit one of the knights in armor, he then quickly regeret it. His hand hit the hard metal, and even broke. The rest of class then got scared and ran straight out the front door.

Mom; "EVEYONE TO THE LIVING ROOM NOW!!"

They all got really scared, and even the father had gotten scared of his wife. They never really heard their mother yell, neither get angry, so it came as a really surprise. Sarah knew she had done something wrong, and that she was in really big trouble.

Mom; Sarah do you have any ideer of what just happened?"

Sarah; "No I don't, that doesn't normally happen?"

Mom; "OF COURSE YOU DON'T, THAT IS THE REASON, YOU DON'T THINK BEFORE YOU ACT"

Dad; "Sweetheart I know why you are mad, but do you have to yell, I think the neighbors can hear you"

Mom; "Fine, sorry about that"

Sarah's siblings was just about to leave, when their mother looked at them, and they could see that they also where in trouble.

Mom; "And what where you all thinking, you knew the rule just like her, and you didn't do anything"

Their mother was just about to yell at them as well, when a ghost came up behind them. Sarah went behind her, and their mother was now petrified of fear. They had never seen her like that, but then she got turned into stone. They didn't know what had happened, until they looked up, it was Medusa the gorgon from Greek mythology. Or no really, their mother had trapped her ghost inside the house, and she normally would stay by herself, but her rest got disturbed by the music. The rest of the family was looking at her, and had forgotten about her ability, so they got turned into stone just like their mother.
