⊰ 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚜𝚎'𝚜 𝙿𝙾𝚅 ⊱

its been a few days since summer vacation started and noen and i are going on our first little date.
we listed plenty of fun stuff to do, but we decided a picnic at the park for lunch would be fun and simple to start.
this morning, i woke up before noen.
surprise.
it was around 8:35, and noen was still sound asleep in his bed.
he laid on his stomach with his head on the pillow facing me.
his hair was swift across his face toward the pillow.
he was quietly snoring, in complete peace and relaxation.
i slowly and quietly got up, walking over to his bed.
i knelt down and gently rubbed his back, leaving kisses on his cheek as i did so.
his skin was soft and warm, and with every gentle kiss i could feel it over and over..
his warmth was.. calming.
"hey hun, its kinda early but i'd figured i'd wake you up.." i mumbled.
his eyes slowly started to flutter open, sitting up and stretching.
"good morning gorgeous." i said.
"hmm.. me hungy." he said with tired eyes.
"that's okay, you get up and get ready and i'll got get up breakfast." i said.
"okay then." noen smiled.
i quickly got up and put on some shorts and a hoodie, heading out of the the room and off to the cafeteria.
i quickly ordered some pancakes for noen and i- yes, over the summer they make us pay -and headed back.
"here you go bubs." i said, handing him his plate.
"thank you." he said.
"your welcome." i said.
i quickly sat down next to him and started eat, with him doing the same.
i felt him lean his head on my shoulder as he ate with tired eyes.
"me still tried." he said.
"you can head back to bed if you want after you eat? i'm sorry i got you up." i said.
"no no it's okay, we're still gonna hang out today right?" he asked.
i nodded.
"thats okay, i can take a nap before we leave later." he said.
later that day- after noen's nap of course -we took a walk to the park for our little picnic date.
well, i consider it a date.
i don't know if he does.
he was so cute, he had a pretty light blue long sleeve on with a white tank top on top of it.
his skirt was the same color as the shirt and it had darker blue flowers on the bottom right corner.
the flowers started small in the middle and trailed upward in the right corner toward the waist line.
they scatter out bit, but not too much.
he's so pretty.
the skirt gently swayed with the slow breeze, not moving too much.
the sun light glared, making his eyes shine beautifully.
i found it clever how he didn't even try to match his black converse' with outfit.
he truly doesn't care.
i wish i had that confidence.
i wish i didn't have to be cocky to feel loved.
we eventually got to the park, setting down our things and placing a blanket down on the ground.
"there wasn't much, but i got us some sandwiches, sugar cookies, grapes and juice boxes. the lunch ladies didn't give much of a selection for $22.58." i chucked, opening the little purple bag we brought with the food.
"and i knew it was going to be sunny, so i brought you some sun screen." i said.
he smiled and tilted his head.
"your so sweet." he giggled. "thank you, all of this will do just fine."
i started taking the food out of the bag, as he rubbed the sun screen into the bare areas of his body.
"what kind of sandwiches?" he asked, grabbing the little plastic plate the sandwich had been on.
"ham and cheese. i made sure there was no mayo and no yellow cheese. i know how you are." i said.
he giggled. "thank you."
what? we've been roommates for an entire year, of course i got to know him!
we talked and laughed about all the fun things we'd do this summer as we ate.
he brought up the idea of playing never have i ever, so i just went with it.
"okay, never have i... kissed griffin." he said.
oh? so we're getting personal?
"i have. but i made sure kio wasn't around first-" i said.
".......same." he said.
remember that story that we kept for another time?-
"yeah, i remember." i chuckled.
"what can i say? i'm for the streets." noen joked.
sometimes i wish you weren't for the streets sweet boy..
"you know what they say noen, if they belong to the street you let them play in traffic." i said.
his jaw dropped.
"joking!" i said.
we went on like that back and fourth for a bit.
eventually, we found ourselves watching the sunset.
i sat with my legs out, steadying myself on my arms.
his head was set on my lap, his hair in his face.
i slowly stroked it away looking at his gorgeous blue eyes as he watched the sky.
"today's been great." he said.
"you think so?" i asked.
"i know so." he smiled.
