Explaination

(Bella's POV)

Once Maddie walked out Carlisle was gonna follow but I said "don't please don't.. She will make it to the woods and Paul will take her home she will be safe and after the vote I will answer all your questions.

Now Alice?"
"yes I already think of you as my sister."
"Emmett?"
"hell yeah! We can find another way to fight the Volturi."
"Jasper?"
"Yes, it would be great to not want to kill you all the time."
"Rosalie?"
"I am really grateful that you went to save my brother but this isn't a life I wanted for myself and I wish someone had been there to vote no for me, so No"
"Carlisle?"
Edward cut in and said "why are you doing this? You know what this means"
"Because you have chosen not to live without her and I will not lose my son, but Bella, Alice has never changed anyone it would be safer for me to do it. and I won't until you finish high school"

I smiled and said "ok now ask your questions one at a time" I took a deep breath as Carlisle asked the first question.

Carlisle- "What happened after we left, two did she handle it?"
Me- "She handled it with grace, she broke down in the dark and was there to care for Dominic I how ever not so much grace"
Rosalie- "why cant we mention his name around her?"
Me- "A lot has happened and his name brings up bad memories"
Jasper- "why does she feel dead inside?"
Me- "because she is dead inside, she no longer has a reason to live. Carlisle broke her but Dominic... he destroyed her"
Alice- "what did you mean when you said she just started eating?"
Bella- "we had to have Paul force her to eat twice a week, we have finally got her to willingly eat once a day. You saw me jump off a cliff that means you were watching me, why weren't you watching her as well?"
Alice- "I thought she could handle herself"
Carlisle- "we cant mention Dom because he destroyed her but you never said how he destroyed her or where he is"
Bella- "to be honest I didn't want to have to say it, I was hoping you guys wouldn't ask that specific of a question. But here we go. So Dominic was her rock, being his mother was her whole reason for living after you guys left. She didn't even keep the note she ripped it to shreds, the check is still sitting on her dresser. In January Victoria came back, looking for me, I had just begun moving and eating and talking myself and Maddie was downstairs visiting Charlie and Harry. I don't know exactly what happened because I was at the movies but from what I was told, he screamed for her but it got cut off causing all three to run upstairs and by then it was too late. Victoria had strangled him and Maddie and Harry saw her hair as she jumped out the window and disappeared. When Dominic died she shattered, I thought she was bad when she was broken but now it's like she doesn't exist except for a shell."

I took a deep breath and continued "Before his death she became best friends with Paul and Dominic loved him. He helped her pain which was brought up every night when Dom would ask when you guys would be back. Eventually he stopped asking because he was four and she got better she stopped crying all the time. But now the only reason she hasn't died yet is because Paul stops her every time." Rose cut me off and said "what do you mean stop her? Has she tried to commit?"

I said "she has tried to hang herself, drown herself, make herself bleed out..." Paul has been there every time to save her. She does smile every once in awhile but Paul and Emily have to try really hard to get it to happen. Sue is over with her a lot because Harry also died by Victoria's hand another person she had grown close to since you've been gone. I just... Carlisle I know you love her, but you cannot go near her, I'm sorry but she detached emotionally and we are finally getting her to love people again, to be Madison Swan again. So I am going to say this nicely Carlisle stay away from her, unless she chooses to come to you. She isn't as forgiving as I am you lost her like she warned you, you would."

Carlisle sighed everyone including me had sat down in the middle of my story, he said "I understand needing to stay away. I shouldn't have left and then I could have saved him." I said "don't blame yourself, trust me Maddie is blaming me and in a way it is my fault, she is after me and she is destroying Maddie to get to me. She generally has some kind of emotion in her voice but to me nothing. Don't get me wrong she still voted no because even though she hates me, it will pass and she doesn't want me dead. She wants me alive for when we can make up."

Jasper said "other than you and Victoria who does she hate because that is a lot of hate she is carrying inside her." I said "ill give you one blonde guess jasper" Carlisle said "she hates me doesn't she?" I said "bingo give a prize to daddy vamp, I have to get back before Charlie wakes." I stood up as he said "daddy vamp?" I smiled and said "yeah thats what she referred to you when she talked about you before you left, she is kinky and for some reason I will never understand, being tied up and calling her lover daddy turned her on. It's why she has never even as a child called Charlie daddy, she said it felt weird" With that I followed Edward out the door.
