Graduation

Bella's graduation came around the corner so fast, I was dressed in this.

I was sat between Charlie and Carlisle, leaning against his chest as he wrapped his arm around my waist. Jessica said "When we were five they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up, our answers were things like, astronaut, president, or in my case a princess. When we were ten they asked us again we answered, rockstar, cowboy, or in my case a gold medalist. But now that we've grown up they want a serious answer. Well, how about this, who the hell knows! This isn't the time to make hard, fast decisions. This is the time to make mistakes, take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere, fall in love...a lot. Major in philosophy, because there's no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind and change it again, because nothing's permanent. So make as many mistakes as you can, that way someday when they ask what we wanna be we won't have to guess, we'll know." we clapped and after the graduation, we went to Alice's party.

At the party, Alice had a vision so we all met in a room away from the partiers including Jacob, Embry, Quil, and Paul. I was sitting on a table in front of Paul leaning on him, while Carlisle leaned against my chest. Carlisle said, "This could turn into a blood bath." Edward said, "Who's behind it?" Alice said "I didn't see anyone I recognized. Maybe one." Edward said "I know his face. He's local, Riley Biers. He didn't start this." I said, "The missing kid Charlie is looking for?" Edward nodded and Jasper said, "Either way, the army is coming and there aren't enough of us to protect the town." Jake said, "Hold up, what damn army?" Carlisle looked at Paul and me and said "Newborns, our kind." 

Embry said, "What are they after?" Alice looked upset and said, "They were passing around Bella's red scarf and Maddie's Purple skirt." Jake said "They're after Maddie and Bella? What the hell does this mean?" Paul grabbed my hand as Carlisle pulled me in front of him to hold me tight. Carlisle said, "It means an ugly fight, with lives lost." Jake said "All right. We're in." Bella said "No, you'd get yourselves killed. No way." Jake said, "I wasn't asking for permission." Bella said "Edward?" Edward said, "It means more protection for you." Carlisle said "Jacob, do you believe Sam would agree to an understanding?"Jake said, "Yes, Sam and Emily and the whole pack adore Maddie, besides that she is an imprint by pack law we have to." Carlisle said "Jasper?" Jasper said "It'll give us the numbers. Newborns won't even know they exist. It'll give us an edge." 

Bella said, "Jake, you don't know what you're getting yourself into." I sighed as Jake said "Bella, this is what we do. You should be happy, look at us, we're working together. You are the one who wanted us to get along, remember?" Bella said, "Maddie how can you be ok with this?" I said "I'm not Bella, I am not ok with this at all but we don't have a choice if I had my way id go after the bitch myself for what she did to my baby but it's not our decision. I don't like the idea of not only Carlisle or Paul going to fight her but also of the Pack and the rest of the family doing it either. However, someone has to because she has to pay."  

Later that night, we met up in a clearing for training. I was dressed in a pink and black camo sports bra, pink camo Leggings, pink sneakers, and a black and pink camo cropped hoodie that says 'This Queen ain't need no Bitch, I got a King.' the pack came and Edward said: "They don't trust us enough to be in their human forms." Carlisle said "They came, that's what matters. Will you translate? Welcome, Jasper has experience with the newborns, he can teach us how to defeat them." Edward said, "They wanna know how the newborns differ from us." Carlisle said "They're a great deal stronger than us because their own human blood lingers in their tissues. Our kind is never more physically powerful than in our first several months of this life." Jasper said "A newborn army doesn't need thousands like a human army. But no human army can stand against them. Now the two most important things to remember are; first never let them get their arms around you, they'll crush you instantly. The second, never go for the obvious kill, they'll be expecting that and you will lose."
