I was about to form an escape plan when Liam grabbed my wrist. "What?" I said, even though he probably couldn't hear me. He pointed to the crowd of teenagers dancing. His blond hair was reflecting the flashing lights, and his skin turned colors with it. I wondered if I looked just as strange under this illumination. My head shook 'no', but Liam dragged me in anways.
I wonder what my 'mom' would think about this. I wonder what Mich-NO. I must grab my head out of his ass, and into the real world...But..This isn't the only real world..is it? Ourne is another place..out there. But none of that matters. Right now its just about me, and trying not to embarrass myself or anyone around me. I must stop thinking about where Michael could be, if what Michael explained was true, if Michael liked me the way I liked him, ect cetra ect cetra.
The loud music made my head hurt, and the feeling of wanting to get lost was eating my brain. Liam smushed me in the middle of a lot of musty teenagers. Anybody hear of deodorant? I bet you that if someone set up a stand selling that stuff right here he/she will become rich. Or maybe nobody would really care, because they're all wasted. Ah, never mind that. We're getting too off topic.
Liam left me in the middle of the crowd, next to the girl with red hair and glasses, and some tall dude. Liam returned a few moments later carrying a large cup in his hand, and handed it to me. I took a sniff, and almost puked. Beer. Disgusting liquid that everyone here is addicted to. I was about to give it back to him, and tell him to go seek out someone else who wants to be wasted, when the tall dude bumped into my elbow.
Oops.
Before I could register the fact of my arm moving, the pee-looking liquid spilled all over Liam. He gasped, and jumped back rapidly blinking the alcohol out of his eyes. Liam bumped into the red-headed girl with glasses, and she bumped into that guy, and that guy bumped into that other girl, and that's how to make human dominoes. It all starts with the girl who decides to wear that long sleeved shirt. No wait. It actually wasn't my fault. If Liam hadn't gave me that liquid, and if that tall dude had never bumped into me, we would've never had this problem.
So when everyone fell, Liam and I were the only two people standing. Everyone ignored Liam since he was the host, and shot death glares towards me. I could feel them mentally throwing daggers at my face. The music stopped, making my body happy, and my mind furious. Who told them to cut the music? Now I must stand here in the awkward silence.
Slowly but surely people got up, and gave a hand to the other people who needed to get up. The women hated me, but the men seem pleased. They probably got a few snap shots of body parts that are forbidden in society. I bit my lip, knowing that I was probably the biggest party crasher ever known.
As the party started up again, and people continued dancing I made my way to the exit. Some guy winked at me, and another one smiled. I looked down at myself making sure they weren't being perverts. I sighed in relief when I saw that nothing was showing. Okay. Now to make an invisible exit that no one will notice.
When I was only a few meters away from the door, some stranger blocked me. He had light brown hair and grey eyes. The man was tall, not really muscular, but you can tell that he works out. I was about to be all 'S'cuse me' when he hiccuped, and slurred. "Heey, Bebe!" I tried to push him to the side, but his arm awkwardly blocked me. "WHATS your sign?" He asked, his voice as loud as the music. My sign? Huh? Like zodiac? My nose twitched as I made a smart reply. "Do Not Enter."
The dude's eyes went from left to right as I took a step back, and bumped into someone. I was expecting someone to fall, so when strong arms caught me I gave out small squeal. It was Liam. Liam looked extremely offended, and looked into the stranger's cloudy grey eyes. "She's taken." Was all he said. I wanted to add 'By Michael', but no one really knows him, and I don't even know if Michael would take me.
