keni woke up in a familiar room. too familiar, she thought and she jolted up, wincing at the pain in her shoulder.

she stared at the boy that was seated on the bed next to her, "how long?"

"you've only been out for a few hours, relax, your shoulder is going to hurt more if you put so much strain on it," winwin answered.

"well my heart is going to hurt more since you keep putting strain on it but that doesn't stop you," she deadpanned.

"what?"

"what."

winwin shook his head and let it slide, partially because he was flustered and didn't know what to say. 

"do you have anything to say to me?" keni asked carefully as she noticed winwin's hesitancy around her.

his eyes widened and he shook his head,"nah get some rest."

keni nodded slowly and lifted herself out of the bed, clutching her shoulder. winwin grabbed her arm with furrowed brows, "where are you going?"

keni gave him a look, "back to my room."

"you're room is here though," winwin protested.

"did you forget that i'm going to stay with lucas now."

winwin's gripped hardened and he pulled her back on the bed a little bit harsh, "what's going on with you and lucas."

keni crossed her arms, "what do you think is going on?"

"that's what i'm asking you," winwin crossed his arms as well, not letting the girl out petty him.

"that rich, coming from you. i can't believe you have the audacity to ask me that question would you still mope around ayeri like a lost puppy," keni rolled her eyes and stood up again. 

she almost made it out the door before winwin came back to his senses and ran over, slamming the door shut and trapping her to the wall. tears were threatening to fall out of his eyes as he caressed her face, "please keni. just stay, don't leave me too like she did."

keni would be lying if she said that her heart didn't break a little seeing him like that, "winwin, i'm not here for you to use me to get over another girl.

tears spilling over, winwin looked the ground and sighed, "i know. and i'm selfish, but can't you just accept me like this for now?"

it was the most vunerable keni had ever seen winwin and it was an odd change to experience.

"i can't," she whispered, "but i'll stay for tonight."

she dragged winwin to the bed and tucked him on his side of bed, sitting down and stroking his hair so that he would calm down a little.

winwin looked up at her, "do you think it's possible to love two people at the same time?"

keni paused, her heart cracking a little more. it was honestly terrible for her to be around him. every little action and word of his always hurt her, even if he didn't mean it.

"winwin you only love one of us. but you have to figure out who it is," her own teras flowed down her flawless face as she treasured this moment with him, knowing that he would be cold to her again in the morning

honestly keni is one of my favorite characters.
