CHAPTER 25: First date.

I can't seem to sleep tonight, Williams words keeps on replaying in my brain.

Can trust him again? What about Sam? Will he tell her about me?

At the office in the morning, when I went inside, it was filled of fragrant red and white roses. It smelt so wonderful.

The person behind it must know how much I liked flowers very much, specially roses.

In my chair, there was a huge Teddy bear with an emblem in the chest saying hug me! I smirked when I realized who's behind this. It was Rylie for sure. This is his thing for all i know.

I heard someone clearing throat behind me. I was shocked to see William leaning his back into the door, hands behind him looking suspiciously damn hot every time his eyes lands on mine.

"Guess someone has an admirer today huh!?" He waltz towards me smirking. His eyes focused on mine.

"S-sorry about t-this. I-I'll get some help removing it." He's getting closer, and I can't seem to maintain an eye contact to him. The atmosphere in the room seems to be decreasing, or was I just holding my breath?

"Why would you do that? Don't you like the flowers now?" He stood in front of me frowning.

"I do! But.. i-it was you who doesn't like someone giving me flowers right? You make sure of it before, remember?" How can I forget him throwing my bouquet in the trash can. Ugh! It was so harsh.

He smiled adorably. "Yes I do... unless..." he pulled out his hands from behind him then handed me a bouquet of pink roses.

I froze and stood there with my mouth wide open.

"...it came from me." He said while grinning, showing his full white teeth. So cute!

"You....made...this?" I looked around me frowning and asked. This isn't his style.

He nodded and titled his head sideways, amused by my reaction.

After that day, William made an effort preparing a surprise for me almost everyday. The people at the office are suspicious about William being my suitor.

Sandy, on the other hand is the first one to open up to me. She said she'll get mad if William's really courting me.. she was so funny when she said it, I just laugh at her.

"What's this?" I frown asking the delivery boy who handed me an envelope. He then left after I signed the package.

I opened the envelope confused of what's inside it. "Ticket?" I mumbled.

"Let's go to carnival tonight?" William suddenly appeared on the door. He should stop doing that habit of his, or else I'll die of heart attack.

"What the.... are you trying to kill me!?" I mockingly say holding my chest.

"Opps sorry! I was standing there for a minute I thought you noticed me." He reasoned out smirking and walked over to me and sat on the desk.

"I wouldn't be startled then!" I mumbled not looking at him.

"Sorry... so, let's go to carnival tonight?" He looks like a toddler asking his mommy to go to carnival.

"You do know that we are few steps away from each other right? why do you have to make this ticket delivered, when you could have just personally handed it to me?" I shook my head in disbelief.

"Then, it wouldn't be romantic?" Romantic? This is what romantic to him? Oh unbelievable!

I shot up to him speechless.

"Come on Athena! Let's go tonight huh!?" He asked and puppy eyed me.

Williams pov

"Let's go try the roller coaster!" Athena's voice shrilled with excitement.

Roller coaster? That's a big no no for me. Last time I tried it, there were puke everywhere, dad have to trick me into something i really want, just to get me out of my chair. It was so embarrassing. The most unforgettable moment of my life.

"Hey? Don't tell me you're scared?" He crossed her arms raising an eye brow looking like a terror teacher interrogating her student.

I pointed my finger in my chest and say. "Me? Scared? Tssssss.. that wasn't on my vocabulary my dear."

And just that, I proudly walked over the roller coaster entrance, braving enough hoping I won't humiliate my self in front of many people again.

"What's up Mr. Brave man? Why looked so pale now huh!?" Athena teasingly asked as we seated inside the roller coater.

Damn it! I can feel my knees shaking and my heart beats faster and faster.

Here we go!!

When the ride started, Athena engulfed her self in excitement and I was there squeezing the safety vest while Holding my breath and praying so hard for my ordeal to be  over.

She was enjoying her self very much, shouting and throwing her arms in the air every time we went 360 degrees. While I was offering a prayer to the lord.

Finally, the ride was over and I sigh in relief.

"You okay?" She looked up to me obviously hiding a laugher.

When i nodded, she finally burst out laughing holding her stomach.

"It's not funny!" I brushed her off.

"Oh God William, you should have seen your self right now." She told laughing so hard.
