CHAPTER 4: BROKEN HEARTS.

Saturday morning, I decided to call Rylie and inform him that I'll be attending the reunion party in our school and told him that I'm coming with someone else. He obviously felt bad but I'm glad he understand and asked me to enjoy the night.

I choose to wear a backless tube black dress that is perfectly showed my curve. The length is right above the knee. Then i went to the bathroom curling the ends of my hair and put a little bit of blush on and red lipstick on my lips which made me look fabulous. I didn't know I would look as gorgeous as I was right now.

I heard a knock on the door so I hastily went down stairs.

"Wow you look so beautifully stunning babe." As William complimented me and he pecked my lips. I blushed when I saw that he was mesmerize by me.

Checking him out from head to toe. Wow! I'm sure as hell the girls in the party will get jealous of me and will be drooling just by seeing William. He really looks handsomely impossible by his black pants and Polo shirt.

"I think I need to hire a body guard for tonight." I said while amused by his looks.

"Why? Don't you think I can protect you?" He asked frowning.

"Nope. I think I'm gonna need a lot of force to keep the women away from you tonight." I said winking at him.

"Oh baby my eyes will be for you the whole night and forever." He bend down and grabbed me by my waist and plant a sweet long kiss on my lips. That feels so good. Am I falling for him already? I mentally shook my head. No! No! No!

"As much as I don't want to disturb your cuddling. You guys need to go now if you don't want to be late." We heard my Mother cleared her throat behind us. I looked at her blushing.

When we arrived at the party. There were already a lot of people inside the pavilion. Just as I expected, William caught all the girls attention. I even heard someone calling his name, but William ignored them and continued guiding me to our table, walking past them. I feel so proud to be with him tonight.

"You want a drink babe?" He asked right after I sat down.

"Sure." I looked at him smiling. How gentleman of him.

"Okay. Stay here. I'll get you one." he winked before leaving.

I waited for 15 minutes But there's no sign of him so I decided to search for him around and i found him at the bar surrounding with 3 flirty woman and another woman sitting on his lap with his hand on her waist while the woman hugging him on the neck allowing him to have a perfect view to her obviously fake boobs. My eyes widen and I looked at them furiously. What the hell? Seriously?

"Guess once a playboy. Always be a playboy." As I murmured to my self. I can't believe what he's doing right now. How can he do this to me?

I notice that the woman titled her head to my direction. She smirked and stared at me intentionally. The next thing happened made my blood boiled from madness. The woman place her lips on Williams and they where then exchanging kisses. A tear starts clouding from my eyes then I heard somebody calling me from behind.

"Athena? Athena is that you?" I didn't move my eyes from looking at William and the woman and ignoring the person calling me.

William might have heard my name being called. He looked at my direction and his eyes widen. I wiped out my tears. That was enough for me. He cheated on me.

I turned away running past and got bumped at somebody's hard chest.

"Athena! You Okay?" I heard a familiar worried voice. When i looked up i saw Patrick (my ex) looking at me surprisingly. Ugh! The least person I wanted to see.

"I'm fine. I just need space." I looked at Williams direction once again and it made my heart broke so hard. He doesn't even care about how I feel. Such a playboy!

I run away from the pavilion and went to the garden to breath out everything.

"Relax Athena. Relax. You've been through with this before and you'll going to surpass this again." Murmuring to my self.

"Athena?" Patrick came to me.

"What do you want Patrick?" I said out of annoyance. I realized I wasn't affected to see him anymore. I moved on already.

"I..I'm sorry Athena. I..I was wrong. I should have waited for you to be ready about it. But I'm a coward. I'm sorry about what happened before. Will you forgive me?" I'm surprise with what he said. I never expected to hear this from him. But this is not about him. This is not about him anymore.

"What are you saying pat? You think I'm crying because of you? For your information I have already forgotten you a long time ago. So let's move forward here please." I said furiously.

"You heard her. Move away asshole." I didn't notice William is standing just behind me. He walked up to me and grabbed my wrist. I struggle to make him let go of me but he just harden his hold on my wrist and pulled me to him.

"Let's talk." He said pleadingly.

"No. What I saw was enough already. Let me go! you punk." I said struggling to pulled my wrist from him.

"You heard her. Let go of her." Patrick hold my other wrist and pulled me away from William.

"Who the hell are you asshole?" William was obviously furious at Patrick right now. If they fight, it will be a fight of assholes.

"I'm Patrick and if I were you I will let go of her." Patrick said pulling me on his direction.

"Oh!! So you're the bastard who hurt her." William said ready to throw punches to Patrick.

Their loud voices obviously caught a lot of people's attention crowding around us.

"You think you can win over me? Athena is mine. And no one will Ever get her from me." William said pulling me on his direction.

"She's been mine once and it's a mistake letting her go. And I will get her back." Patrick replied. Oh such a bunch of stupid playboy assholes.

"Stop it! You morons. I don't belong to any of you. Not with you (William) and obviously not yours (Patrick). I said pulling both my arms from their grip. I run away from them towards the crowd. Such a stupid drama! This is so embarrassing. I looked down ignoring the people staring at me. Suddenly I bumped with someone's hard chest. It was Rylie. William and Patrick are still glaring with each other waiting for someone to make the first move to fight.

"Athena! You Okay?" Rylie shrugged my shoulders.

"Ry, can you take me home please? I wanted to go away from this drama. Please Ry." I said pleadingly. I'm glad i bumped into him.

Rylie smiled at me. "No problem Ath. Come on let's go. I'll take you home."

When we arrived in my house. I decided to stay on Rylie's car for a minute to cleared out the bad things happened tonight. Rylie asked me about what happened and I willingly told him everything, from the arrange marriage to working as Williams secretary. He can't believe it.

"Oh Athena! I'm just here for you. You know, I think your grand father will understand if you'll backed out from the wedding. I'm sure he doesn't want you to be with someone who doesn't respect you at all." Rylie's right. Grand father will understand me.

"Thanks for everything Ry. You don't know how much this talk means to me." I said and gave him a thank you hug.

"Anytime Ath. As I always told you. I'll always be here for you." He said while caressing my back.

"I'm just glad I saw you tonight."

After a few hours, William came to my house banging the door like a crazy person. I don't want to talk to him and hear his lies. He was a playboy and always will be.
