The Past

After saving her land from evil's hand, the reincarnation of Athena was congratulated for her courage. At her side was the famous hero of Twilight who saved his land from the Evil king.

"(Y/N). We are truly proud of what you did. You are a goddess. One of us. Don't be afraid! We are your family!" Said her father. "Along with your friends who taught by you. Even if we weren't in danger, we are in your debt. Anything could've gone wrong."

(Y/N) and the hero stood proudly and happy for their ending.

Once the celebration was over, they hung out like before. The hero mentioned a memory and they both went way back.

"But they can't see me!" Said Akari. "Who cares! We can make space and then describe him to you!" (Y/N) shouted.

The hero and the princess hired an artist to paint the three, even if Akari was invisible, she still had an idea.

"Ready?" The artist asked. "Ready!"

With the hero's kindness, Akari's wisdom, and (Y/N)'s love, the three made a great painting.

(Y/N) described Akari to the painter and he went headed and did it.

The three walked out of the town. (Y/N) was excited and looked at the picture. The trio was smiling so beautifully.

That painting survived and slipped through many's hands until you found it.

~

"Grandma! Grandma!" You called. "Yes?" Your grandmother responded. "Who are these?" You asked, pointing at the people in the picture.

Your grandma stood quietly for a second. "Those are actors, dear. Maybe they lost their paintings, give it here. I'll keep it."

Still clueless, you gave her the painting.

You were a 17 year old girl living in the huge land of Hyrule. To the east of the land, there was a famous town. Hateno village. That was your home.

Everyone in the town acted..strange towards you. You didn't know why but thought it might to deal with those silly legends your grandma always tells.

Might be silly, but you had a mark on your wrist. You don't know what it is, no one does.

For years, you wondered until you met him. Link.

He also had a mark, but on his hand. However, he knew who it came from and where it was from. Not to mention, the princess of Hyrule also had it. I mean, I suppose you weren't the only one right? Still, everything was confusing.

Link didn't treat you like everyone else did. Everyone treated you so kindly..too kindly. Like royalty and you didn't like it. You wanted to have fun with people, not make them give you everything they want.

Link pushed you to face your fears. No..literally push you.

He finished his food before you even began eating yours. He didn't care yet he did. Once, he saved you from a high fall in the mountains.

He knew the stories about you. You asked him once on why he treated you differently.

"I'm also a reincarnation of someone. I don't like being treated like a savior or a god, though.."

While he was at Hyrule castle, you had your own hobbies. Taking care of your grandmothers farming and knitting.

Since youth, you've always had steady hands. During times, you hummed songs that were familiar to your soul. It was odd.

Your grandmother was a crazy yet a kind person. She was like a mother to you. You didn't have any siblings nor parents so she was all you had in your life that you loved with all your might.

She understood that you were confused but didn't push you to understand her stories.

"Just remember them." She always said.
