"Hey simone, let's go and talk to the new girls, they seem fun."
Simone shifted her concentrating gaze from her maths book to roxy and eyed her suspiciously. "What are you planning?, anyway just know i will not be part of it."
"Come one, i just want to get to know them, they seem nice."
"I don't believe your words for a second, remember i know you very well."
"Okay then, seems i will be going alone."
"What about maria,? You can go with her. Can't you?"
"Whatt!, no thanks, i don't want that confused creature near me."
"You should stop being so mean, you will loose all your friends!"
"Are you coming or not!"
"Okay let me pack my books."
After what seemed like an eternity to her simone finished placing her books in the bag and they scurried off to meet the new girls. Roxy was not one to be trusted that's why she decided to tag along and make sure roxy won't bother the girls.

"Seems like the bell has rang, i hope our roommate is a kind person and full of colour unlike you." Karen told her sister as she giggled playfully.
"What!, i am not dull karen, its just that our thinking is different." Casy retaliated as she shrugged her shoulders. Casy had been quiet for some time thus her sister decided to light up the moment by pricking her soft spot and by the time they had finished arguing two pair of eyes were already looking at them with amusement.
They all assessed each other shyly carefully waiting for an approach and that's when roxy decided it was enough, tension was already thick in the air.
"Hi, new girls, welcome to our school, i am roxy."
"And i am simone." She announced with a beautiful smile on her lips.
Casy looked at them for some time, evaluating if they could be trusted. Roxy seemed more naughty and playful whereas simone seemed more reserved.
"And you are?."roxy asked karen as impatience was already evident on her eyes.
"Oh, i am karen and this is my dull sister cassandra."
"I am not dull." Casy retaliated again already tired of her sisters mockery.
"Okay and this is my dishonest and negative friend, simone." Roxy replied, her eyes already lighting up, they would really get along.
"It was nice meeting you both. And welcome to our school, goodness which of you is karen or cassandra. You are so much. How do your parents even differentiate?"Asked a visibly confused roxy.
"Pretty easy, we have different eye colours, mine is grey whereas my sister's cassandra is blue."
"You must have taken after your mother, she is quite pretty."
"Speaking of mother, we really have to go. She called us almost twenty minutes ago. She might have left already!, come one karen, we have to go and say goodbye."
"I am sorry roxy, my sister doesn't really know how to take a compliment, anyway thanks for your warm welcome. We will see each other around."

"Wow, you girls really took your sweet time."said an already impatient rosalinda. Quietly she hoped she would never see them again, the school served its purpose but didn't totally get them out of her way.
"Sorry mommy rosalinda, we got caught up, but we are here now."
"Yes cassandra its good that you are here. I have to take my leave but i didn't want to go without telling you."
Rosalinda was surprised as to how her voice seemed so sincere. Knowing deep down as to how she loathed the girls, blamed them for everything. They have to pay, she thought silently to herself. They were the reason she could give never give richard a child, why, the children were enough. He always spent time with the twins but never with her, took them for vacations and she was always on tow. Not as a wife but as a nanny and that made her hate them with all she had. Richard no longer being there, the girls were at her mercy and she would do to them as her heart desired.
Tears were already brimming on Karen's eyes and it was understandable, life had not been so kind. Cassandra shifted her gaze to karen and noticed her teary eyes and she had a sudden urge to comfort her. Extending her arms she encouraged karen to jump into a hug and all her tears were let loose. Her sobs now already loud.
"Hush sister, everything is going to be okay. I will always be here for you." Casy told her sister as she planted a kiss on her cheek.
"You are a big girl karen, learn to be strong. Don't cry anymore."
"Okay mommy rosy, take care of yourself. I don't want to loose you." Karen answered her amidst her sobs.
"Yes karen, i will be safe and cassandra, please take care of you sister."
"I will." She answered with a nod.
"Okay, goodbye my dear girls."
" bye" they both said in unison.
So far everything was working out fine. Only ben, he seemed like he wouldn't entirely carry out his part. She had to break him or even seduce him. Well everything had a cost.
They stood fixed as they watched her scurry away, the moment seemed so solemn. They only had her. Loneliness comes from death or rejection, for them both applied.
They felt rejection, maybe it was a paranoid speck of their imagination but as it turns out, they were right.

Free at last she thought as a wide smile threatened on her lips. She would definately make good use of that time. She felt their burning gazes on her back but she never as much as stole a wee glance back. Love or pity had never been on her bucket list. Taking a taxi at the schools exit, she left for the airport.

"Oh casy at times i feel as if she doesn't love us, her look is always distant." That was what karen always felt. She craved for love, behind that playful look that always donned her pretty face. Karen was not one to hide her feelings contrary to her sister.
"Stop being paranoid karen, lets go back to our room and maybe we will find our new roommate." Holding Karen's hand she pulled her towards their dorms. They had alot of unpacking to do.
"Okay casy, you can let go of my hand." She said giving casy i am a grown-up look.
"Then hurr...." her trail of words were disrupted by a small voice from behind. It was a farmiliar one as casy's cheeks blushed red. Why did she have such an effect on her?.
They both turned slowly and they were met with an amused look. It was Nadia.
"Umhh hello, nadia,.... miss nadia." No this isn't right she thought to herself. She is always so eloquent in her speech, why now?.
"Hello cassandra, hope you don't mind me calling you casy. Your name is kinda long." She said her look never leaving casy's blue eyes.
"Its okay, i prefer the name casy anyway."
For a long time karen stood watching them, studying her sisters reaction. What is happening here, she asked herself and that's when realization hit her. Damn.
"So here is the subjects manual. You will have to choose the subjects you would like to take till your last year."
She said handing both of them the piece of paper. Stealing one more look towards casy she left, nervously. Casy watched her till she disappeared into the building where they first entered. Karen had had enough, she had to destroy the moment and with a loud voice she cleared her throat.
"What?" Casy asked as she shifted her gaze back to her sister.
"You do realize how inappropriate that was!." She retorted. Already tired of how casy feigned innocence.
"I don't know what you are talking about." She retaliated her voice already throaty.
"Here we go again." But casy had already left her to herself before she finished her speech.
