"Seriously, Jihwan? You live in the East side?" I shouted as he had me pull into a gated parking lot on the Eastside of town.

The Eastside was the worst side of town, more violent crime and just more crime in general happened here. It also had a different police force than where I worked. I didn't like coming over here.

"I have to be near my work, besides I have a great view from my penthouse apartment," Jihwan said as he looked up at the building.

"So you work near here?" I asked.

"Yup. And it's also near the East Towson Police Station who we work with more than you guys," Jihwan said as I pulled into a parking space.

"You have a life outside of me?" I asked as I got out of my car.

"Haha. Very funny. Make sure you lock the car. The security man likes to go through unlocked cars looking for valuables," Jihwan said.

"That's illegal," I said.

"This isn't your jurisdiction," Jihwan whined. "Let's get inside."

We made our way through the lobby. A smartly dressed woman sat at the desk and didn't bother looking up from her phone when we walked in. Jihwan led me to an elevator that Jihwan had a key for. The two of us traveled up the private elevator straight into his apartment.

"Welcome to my home, Ana," Jihwan said as the elevator doors opened.

My jaw dropped as I looked at the large windows on the opposite wall. Even though there was only six floors in the building, it was still an amazing view. I walked through the living room to the window to look out it. As far as you could see, buildings only had one to two floors so you could see for miles, all the way to the lake.

"I'm glad you like the view, Little Detective," Jihwan said from across the living room. "But there's other things to look at, like the exposed brick, the leather seating, the high-tech stereo system, the kitchen twice the size of yours. Or better yet, the large master bedroom with an en-suite with a separated bath and shower."

"Yeah that's all nice, but living downtown, the only views you get are the neighbor's balcony's or neighboring building's walls," I said. "This is nice, Jihwan."

"I'm glad you like it, Ana. Because one day, I want to share this with you." I felt Jihwan's arms wrap around my waist as he spoke.

"Are you asking me to move in with you?" I asked with a chuckle.

"Not right now, maybe after a year together. But I definitely want to live with you. It'll make it easier to get into your pants," Jihwan said.

"Okay!" I shouted as I tried pushed away from his arms. "Why don't you get dressed for work?"

Jihwan tightened his arms around my waist while he chuckled, so I couldn't get away from him. He pressed a kiss to my covered shoulder before letting go. I rolled my eyes with his crazy antics.

"I'll be right out, then I'll take you to go see my work," Jihwan said.

"Dress handsome," I said with a wink.

"You could come watch," Jihwan winked back.

"I saw enough earlier. And while I did like it, you have places to be," I said.

"Don't tease me like that," Jihwan groaned as he walked down the hallway.

As he disappeared I finally got a good look around. There wasn't much decorations, aside from a clock and some plants. There were two large leather sofas that looked like they could fit five people each and two matching armchairs surrounding a large square coffee table. Behind one of the sofas was the kitchen that had much more counter space than I could dream of. A breakfast bar sat in between the kitchen and living room.
