That night I went home and automatically scooped Murphy up in a hug. I flopped onto the sofa and cuddled him into my chest. Even though I was working, my mind was still focused on Zhanshi and Gabos.

After I talked with Captain Butler, I only worked at my desk. That was until I got a call about a new body. But it when I got there it was an obvious suicide, so I turned it over to the correct department. I returned to the station and went back to work on my computer until it was time for me to leave.

After an appropriate time of cuddling Murphy, I stood up and started making dinner. I turned on the stove to heat up the pan before turning to the ingredients to make chicken and potatoes. That was when my phone started ringing.

"Anastasia Barnes," I answered. I held the phone between my shoulder and ear since I was working my hands in the chicken.

"Well, hello, Little Detective," Jihwan said through the phone.

"Are you doing okay? Are you guys making plans?"

"You do know this isn't an actual war, right? It's just some gun fights, stealing of goods, some hacking done so by Ghost, and other things that will lessen their business."

"I know, but I can't help but worry about all of this. It is half my fault," I said.

"Don't you dare say that," Jihwan snapped. "None of this is your fault. If anything it's mine. . . . I am the one who tried getting you in this relationship for do long."

"Thanks, Jihwan. But it is my fault because I agreed to this relationship despite my better judgement."

"You just fell or my good looks."

"No, I fell for your dimples."

Jihwan laughed. "Are you at your apartment right now?"

"I'm making dinner. Are you coming over? I can make some chicken and potatoes for you."

"That would be great. I'm actually on my way over now."

"Tell JJ I say hello," I said as I got another piece of chicken.

"Ana says hello, JJ. . . . He says hello and none of this is your fault."

"Thanks. Does JJ want dinner as well? I don't mind making dinner for him as well."

"He has other work that he needs to get done. Some preparations to make. That sort of thing."

"Okay, I guess that's fine. Are you in traffic because I don't hear anything going on out there."

"Actually, you might want to open your door."

I wiped off my hands on a towel to get the chicken slime off and walked to the door.

"Are you already here, you liar?" I asked through the phone as I opened the door.

Standing there was Jihwan wearing a brown suit jacket over a plain v neck t-shirt. He wore black capri slacks with grey and white sneakers. He smiled down at me, holding his phone to his ear. I hung up the phone, causing both of us to put our phones away.

"Well, I have to say, as much as I love you in your suits. You're incredibly sexy in casual clothes," I said, looking him up and down.

It was then that I noticed a hand behind his back. "Thanks, Little Detective. I can say the same about you."

"What are you hiding behind your back?" I asked, trying to look behind his back.

Jihwan smiled shyly, looking at his feet so he wouldn't look at me. His hair covered part of his eyes.
