Doctor Whooves - Part 2: An Elder Race

        The rest of the day was spent just helping set up for the Grand Galloping Gala. There was a lot to do, and everypony was kept busy, including the Doctor. who wanted to keep an eye on the Dalek, but he kept losing sight of it.

        They finally finished setting up, and just in time, too, because the guests started arriving just as they were finishing up. The group went their separate ways, and the Doctor and Black Mist stuck together. They both wanted to talk to the Dalek again, to see if they could get anymore information.

        Just as they figured out where the Dalek was, Mist and the Doctor ran into a unicorn, who the Doctor recognized as Lyra Heartstrings, and another pony. The other pony was a cream colour with a blue and pink mane. Her eyes were blue, and her Cutie Mark was three blue and yellow bow-looking things.

        "Hey, Time Turner," Lyra said with a smile.

        "Oh, hello Harpstrings," the Doctor replied.

        "Hi, Mist," Lyra said to the Alicorn.

        "Hey, Lyra," Mist replied.

        "So, Turner," Lyra said turning back to the Doctor. "Can I call ya' Turner?"

        "Um, sure," the Doctor."

        "Thanks. Anyway, I wanted you to meet my pal, Bon Bon."

        "Hello," the Doctor said to the pony.

        "Hello," Bon Bon replied.

        "Yeah," Lyra said, turning to Bon Bon. "Turner here helped me during the... incident. Mist helped, too."

        "That's... nice," replied Bon Bon, eyeing the Doctor suspiciously.

        "Well," Lyra said, turning back to the Doctor and Mist. "We're supposed to meet up with Colgate soon. It was nice talking to ya'."

        "See ya'," the Doctor and Mist said in unison.

        As they watched the ponies leave, Mist and the Doctor saw the Dalek head into the palace, and they decided to follow it.

        As they followed the Dalek, it seemed to head underground.

        "This is weird," the Doctor said. "I wonder where we're going."

        "The Crystal Caves," Mist replied. "They've been here basically forever, I think." He looked confused, as if he didn't know how he knew that.

        "Sure enough, they soon began to see hundreds of crystals.

        "It's beautiful," the Doctor said in awe.

        "Yeah, it is," Mist agreed.

        Soon, the Dalek turned a corner. The Doctor turned the corner shortly after, but he quickly backed-up, running into Mist in the process. He pressed himself against the wall."

        "Damn," the Doctor whispered.

        "What is it?" Mist asked.

        "That, my dear Mist," the Doctor replied as he and Mist peeked around the corner. "Is an army."
