"'Ello there," the Doctor said with a forced smile.

"So much for being careful," Mist whispered, also with a fake smile.

"We lasted longer than I normally do."

        "Well, that's comforting."

"Why are you here?" asked a Dalek, which was slightly in front of the other two. "Explain."

Before the Doctor could even think of anything to say, as if he were expecting this to happen, Mist said, "Well, you see, we were at the Gala, and we got wasted."

"Completely wasted," the Doctor added, although he wasn't sure this world had any alcoholic beverages.

"I guess we got lost," Mist continued. "And we ended up down here. Then, we saw one of you, and started following because we thought you would be heading back to the Gala. We lost you near the cavern, and then we saw this ship. We decided to check it out. Now, we're here."

The Daleks were silent for a moment, then the one in the front said, "Wait here." The Daleks then went off to one side and started conversing. They were probably discussing what to do with Mist and the Doctor.

Then, the Doctor heard Mist's voice, only it sounded strange and far away, as if he was thinking it instead of actually saying the one word: "Run!"

The Doctor didn't stop to think about what had just happened. He just ran, and Mist did, too. By the time the Daleks even noticed, they were running down the hall. The Daleks began to chase them, but they weren't all that fast.

As the Doctor and Mist turned a corner too quickly, Mist tripped and fell. Then, the Doctor tripped over him. They were both dazed for a moment, but they snapped out of it when they heard the Daleks closing in on them.

As the Doctor pulled himself up, he set his hoof on a console. He felt himself pushing a button, and he heard the Daleks say, in unison, "No. No."

Then, as he and Mist ran to the front of the ship, the Doctor heard one of the Daleks say, "You have sealed your fate."

The Doctor didn't really have time to think about what the Dalek had said. He was too busy running for his life.

They soon exited the spacecraft, still running. As they ran past the hundreds of Daleks and towards the exit, the alien robots began to move, slowly. "No," the Doctor whispered, realizing what was going on, but still running. Then, gradually getting louder, he repeated, "No. No, no!"

"We've got to warn everypony," Mist said, as they emerged from the underground.

"I know, I know," the Doctor replied.

Just as they were entering the garden, the Doctor ran into Derpy, literally. They both fell to the ground. The Doctor quickly got back up. "Sorry about that, Ditzy," he said as he helped pull Derpy up.

"It's fine Doctor," Derpy replied. Then, she looked at the Doctor, and worry washed over her face. "Doctor, what's wrong?"

"I'll explain soon," the Doctor said. "I promise. But I need to know where the others are."

"I... I don't know. Last time I saw them, they were heading towards town."

"We need to find them." As the Doctor said this, he turned and ran towards the city, with Derpy and Black Mist right behind him.

Not too long after they left the castle grounds, as he turned a corner, Mist said, "They're this way."

"How do you...?" the Doctor began, then stopped. "Whatever. Just, lead the way."

After a few turns, Mist stopped outside of a doughnut shop. "They're in there," he said, motioning towards the shop.

The three of them entered and found the rest of the group around a table laughing. Fluttershy was the first one to see them. "Hey guys," she said. "What's..." Then, her smiled melted away. "Guys. What... What's wrong?"

"We need to leave," the Doctor replied. "Now!"

"Why?" asked Rainbow Dash. "Is it the attack of the very dangerous garbage cans?"

"This is serious," the Doctor said with a tone that surprised them all. "We need to evacuate the city."

"Time Turner," Twilight said in a calm, but slightly unsure, voice. "It's fine. That thing is just some servant that..."

"'That thing'," the Doctor snapped, cutting her off. "Is one of hundreds of Daleks. They are an alien species from another dimension that hate everything. They don't serve anyone, they only know how to destroy and conquer. And if we don't get every last pony out of here, there will be death."

There was a moment of silence while what the Doctor had said settled in. Then, Rarity said, "Oh, calm down darling. You're just being silly."

"I think..." Twilight began to say, but she never got to finish her thought. She was interrupted by an explosion that was followed by a lot of screaming.

"No," the Doctor whispered. Then, he ran out the door with the rest close behind. What they saw was horrible.

The castle was on fire and ponies were running around everywhere. From the light of the flaming castle, the Doctor could see Daleks flying around, the fire making them look more terrible.

The Doctor was stunned for a moment, but he finally managed to say the phrase he was thinking: "It's too late."
