i delete potential baby names
that i remember smiling about,
as we put our last names next to each other.
i type the potential names of
my future children.
and although i smile to myself
as i leave a blank space at the end,
i know they are mine.
next time i'll keep them a secret.
just in case they break my heart
like you did.
