Chapter 13

Ashley POV

I woke up and realized we were all in a cage. I thought to myself, sending us into the safe room had been their plan. Then divert the warriors into defense on the north side. How would they know she would open the door and let them in.

FLASHBACK
Now that the questioning part of the trial was over and Jace is going to go with a plea bargain, we could be allowed freedom. We no lingered had to be sequestered. Several members of our pack came to the council grounds. We were told the council would make a decision of final judgement in a few days. Then I could be allowed to go back home. I would be at week 19 in the pregnancy.

I wanted to be home. I was starting to want to be in my den. I was tired of this place. I was tired of the delays.  I was surprised when I left my room and all my siblings and their mates were there. Plus Alpha to be Liam and Luna to be Penny was there. I looked at them all. I am giving them all hugs when mom, Luna and Aubrey's mom blind folded me. I heard Aubrey and Penny asking why the blindfolds? We were lead into the elevator and taken into a room. I could smell several pack members. When they pulled the blind fold off I saw 6 other pack members sitting on decorated chairs. Then there were three in the middle that myself, Aubrey and Penny were lead too.

The pack had thrown us a surprise pup shower for all 9 of us expectant she-wolves.  I looked at the alpha and asked, "how did you arrange this? Who is watching our pack lands?"

"Have you heard the saying 'If the mountain will not come to Mohammed, Mohammed will go to the mountain'? Since you could not leave here until after the trial your Luna- my lovely mate- requested our pack to come here. Since Jean is such a great scheduler she arranged it."

I saw Quinn with his mate he met just yesterday , his dad and mate, several council members, many people I have met and friended here. Plus many I did not know that I would guess were pack members families. There had to be close to 500 wolves here. Everyone started eating and then gifts after gifts were unwrapped by pack members.

All the sudden my ex mate came into view. "It would of been nice if I had been invited since I have legally been found to be their father. My mate is now on bedrest, but doing better."

Dave said, "now is not the time. Did you and your mate like the crib?"

"Yes dad. Which is how I found about this shower."

"Well behave and ask if you can stay."

"Can I stay please? I know I don't deserve it, but please. They are my pups you carry."

I look at Jace and says, "as long as your civil."

I then start to open up the gift from Dave. Just then members in the room including Jace, started passing out. A spray mist was coming down from vents.

Last voice I heard was, "we were told to grab the pregnant she-wolf there are 9 of them." Then the world went black.

END OF FLASHBACK

I looked at the others who were caged with me, "are you all ok?" 

I heard murmurs and someone said, "How did we get here?"

We all started getting up and gathering together.  We all moved to the back of the cage and started examining each other.  We could see no marks and all the sudden a voice from the other side laughs, "oh we would not hurt any of you. Your pups are to valuable for us. I looked over and saw Alice and Mackenzie.

I stood up and looked at them, "where is my ex?"

Alice replies, "They might try to blame him, but this is us. My mate betrayed our son, so I took a page out of dear old dad's book. He never realized I took over dad's business or what sort of businesses he ran. One of them is trafficking wolves. These pups will be worth a fortune. We will verify what each of you are having and then auction them off. Then you will just disappear. Your disappearances will drive many of your mates crazy. When they loose it my son will swoop in legally take over your pack. It's a win win." She then starts laughing and we see her eyes start to show tints of red.

Three rogues walk in and Alice smiles at them, "these three will be taking care of all of you." She grabs the smallest pregnant she-wolf and puts a knife to her throat. "All of you get on a bed. Then put the collar on or I will slice her throat."

We all do as she says since we don't want her death or her pups on our hands. "I have each of them chained to a bed. That collar takes their strength.  Now you three go hook their hands and feet to the cuffs. Just don't touch the collar since it has silver in it. They hook all 9 of our wrist and ankles to the table. Feed them a healthy meal at least three times daily. Want the pups to be born healthy.  They are all within a window of being able to deliver. Though a couple should wait a week. Go ahead give them those special pills to bring on labor at that point."

She then turns toward Penny. "Sex also brings on labor so you or any guards can take them as often as you want until they deliver once they are at the 20 week mark. The midwife will be down to check them soon. She will say whom you can have. Have fun with them on she midwife clears them." She cackles and walks out with Mackenzie.

I heard one rogue say, "we got to wait for Ash, but the others we can have. The first three rogues, "never thought I would get to have a Luna or Beta wolf. They take took turns taking the others. When the midwife cleared me they took turns and then they forced a pill down our throats.  Then brought us each a meal. At first we refused to eat it until they started taking bites to prove it wasn't drugged. Then they forced a second pill down our throats. They sent other rogues down whom forced themselves on us. That night we all started labor pains but that did not stop the rapes. 

All the sudden toward dawn of what I learnt was our 12th day in captivity, we heard howls and knew the battle had begun. Was were being rescued. AThe rogues in our prison cells ran off. Even their midwife ran off.  Many mates started showing up. We had pack doctors showing up. They got the chains off of us and mates were carrying their mates out of the cells. Quinn picked me up and carried me up. He told me the details about finding his second chance mate. Prior to that I just knew he found her the day before the shower. while he helped me delivery my twins. That night 12 pups were born, but one mother died giving birth.
