Tae declined yet another party invitation to the roller skating rink because he couldn't skate and was so fed up of sitting on the side watching everyone, that it was actually easier not to go. The only problem was that there was no way his friend was going to accept the invitation back with the words 'cannot attend' circled and he knew that there wasn't an excuse on earth that would work... unless his leg was in plaster... which was looking like a viable option right now. He had two months to learn or break a bone on his leg... either would do and it was a distinct possibility that he would break his leg while learning, which is what prompted the booking for his first lesson.

Nausea sat in his stomach and worked its way up to his throat as he walked through the double doors of the skating rink. He was assured that a group lesson would be the best idea so all the focus wasn't on him and he would be amongst others that also couldn't skate so he wouldn't feel so silly if he fell over... if? When, was more like it.

He was greeted by a young girl who handed him some roller skates and showed him to the rink, he lagged behind as he followed her to the main skating rink. There was a small group of people standing around and he suddenly felt very self conscious, the exit looking extremely tempting. The girl showed him to a seat and then walked into the rink area, gliding off and doing a spin before she reached the group. Tae looked down at the skate in his hands and fiddled with the clasp on the boot, loosening it so he could get his foot inside.

"Hey, do you need some help?"

Tae looked up in the direction of the voice and the internal reaction was instantaneous as he looked into the face of the most gorgeous man he'd ever seen in his life. His friends would say that he was being over dramatic but he was a drama student so he didn't ever understand what they expected from him when dramatics was his whole life.

"P-please... oh... erm... no, it's okay, t-thanks." he sounded pathetic, he was well aware of it but holy shit, he was madly in love with this man already.

The man crouched down in front of him "Here, let me help." his voice was so kind and gentle.

Tae was unable to function, his brain short circuited because the man was looking up at him with large brown bambi eyes, his smile was so genuine and his dark hair looked so shiny. Tae was definitely in love, he was already picturing the man in a wedding suit instead of the green button down and khaki trousers that made up the uniform he was currently wearing.

"Th-thanks." Tae was convinced it was true love because he didn't ever stutter his words, not even when he had a touch of stage fright.

"You will be fine, you shouldn't be nervous."

"Oh... Oh... I'm not."

The man smiled more, creases appearing at the edges of his eyes and his teeth showing "That's good that you aren't nervous but it would be fine if you were."

Tae put both feet on the ground once the second boot was on and stood up on shaky legs, his feet wanting to roll in opposite directions, causing him to instinctively reach out and grab whatever was closest to steady himself and in this instance it was the man.

"S-sorry" Tae said as he grabbed a hold of his bicep, feeling his stomach flip thanks to the muscle kink he harboured and now he knew it was love at first touch as well as sight.

"You have nothing to apologise for. I'll look after you." the man smiled kindly and Tae was melting "we are giving out name stickers so we know who you are. My name is Jungkook."

"I'm Tae."

"It's nice to meet you, Tae. You will need to move though, as lessons will take place past that barrier, there isn't really the room here with all the rows of seats." he winked... Tae died internally.
