About a month after the sports festival

Mom left last night to go to America for a mission, Dad was still stationed in action so he wouldn't be home anytime soon. So it was just Dexter and I for a while.

Classes have been getting easier for me, but the workload has nearly tripled.

Todoroki also keeps apologizing for our fight during the sports festival.

And now here I am, sitting on my bed and working on some heroics homework, when Dexter poked his head into my room.

"Hey Saph."

I looked up at him and smiled. "Hey Dex, what's up?"

"I just wanted to let you know that I love you."

"I love you too Dex."

"Stay strong for me okay?"

I nodded, kinda confused.

He smiled and shut my door as he left.

I continued doing my homework until I heard a bang come from down the hall.

I shot up and rushed down to the source of the noise, Dexter's room.

I opened the door and froze at the scene in front of me.

Dexter was laying on the floor, a gun in his hand, dead.

I fell to my knees by his side, cradling his head in my hands as tears streamed down my face.

"No no no! Dexter no!" I sobbed. "You can't leave me! No! No, you can't leave me!"

My hands were now coated in his scarlet blood as he lay lifeless in my lap.

"You promised!" I screamed. "You promised me you wouldn't leave!"

My tears kept falling and refused to stop.

By the time the police arrived my throat was burning and my cheeks were thoroughly stained.

I lied and told the police my mom would be home in the morning so they'd let me stay here for the night.

Two days later, Saturday

I stayed home the past two days, only Kayama and Aizawa knowing what actually happened.

I checked the time and saw that it was nearly midnight.

I sighed and decided I couldn't handle being cooped up here any longer today.

I changed into a pair of black ripped skinny jeans and a black knitted cropped tube top since it's warm tonight. I pulled on my Doc Martins and shoved my phone into my pocket and pulling my black studded beanie over my dual braids.

I clipped my house keys to my belt loop and stuck some cash in my pocket before walking out of the house.

I just kept walking until I came to a decent looking bar, I walked in and sat on one of the stools near a corner.

The bar tender looked at me and chuckled. "You look worse for ware sweetheart, can I get you anything?"

I shrugged. "I've been better. Vodka please."

He nodded and poured some vodka into a glass and handed it to me.

I tossed the warm liquid down my throat and the bartender almost immediately refilled my glass.

I took my time with this one and sipped on it.

A couple of drinks later the bartender, who's name I learned was Yukai, went to attend to other customers.
