"Did you really spam him with shirtless pictures of anime characters?" Akaashi deadpanned as he took a swig of his water as the team decided to take a water break.

It had now been 3 days since your discord conversa—beef with kodzuken and your setter friend was judging you quite hard.

You had sent the boy a few texts during those three days and hadn't received a reply yet your heart hurting a little bit more than you expected and you didn't know why.

"Yeah he wasn't answering my texts so I had to do something! Oh and on that thought," You wacked Akaashi in the head a sound resonating in the gym to which everyone glanced at you.

The boy himself winced in pain as he brought his hand the his head glaring at you. "What was that for?"

"That's for describing me to kodzuken as too much which I still want to know what that means!" You exclaimed giving Akaashi a scowl to which he took no fear in, used to your antics.

"What else do you think I mean L/n? I'm honestly surprised that I've been close friends with you for so long and haven't gone mentally insane with the weird things you do and say."

Your eyes suddenly perked up at his words but in joy rather than anger. He called you a close friend.

You had known Akaashi since middle school as you were the one to constantly nag him as he sat alone at lunch, ignoring you at first.

He found you quite aggravating truth be told but began to ease into your energetic personality as time passed by.

He never once called you his friend or even close friend for that matter as that was just how the stoic boy was. So you couldn't help but ignore his rudeness towards your personality your face beaming.

"Keiji did you just call me your close friend?!" You sang joyfully to which he only looked at you clearly weirded out.

"No I said—"

"Akaashiii you've never referred to me as a close friend!" The owl haired boy cut off Akaashi as he pouted at him joining in on our conversation.

"Guys I never sa—"

"I'm sorry Bokuto but but I've known him for longer than you have," You said proudly.

"Only by two months!" He shot back whining like a child.

"Can you both just sto—"

"Alright boys continue with your drills!" Coach this time cut the boy off as he signalled them back to the middle of the court.

Akaashi only let out a small sigh regretting the words that had come out of his mouth although truly meaning it.

After practice had ended you and Rin walked back to your house to enjoy a nice girls night as you hadn't for a while.

And why was that exactly? Well it was because you had been too invested in the arcade lately not walking home with your best friend as often.

So now you two were sitting on the couch re watching episodes of Attack on Titan together.

"Man I wished Levi was real. I would clean anything for him," Rin said her eyes gleaming at the screen which was Levi beating the crap out of Eren.

"Preach to that."

"So did the mystery gamer ever reply?" Rin switched the topic as she kept her gaze fixated on the screen.

"Yeah I ended up texting him on discord telling him to fuck off to which only resulted in him saying no and calling me a pedophile clown lover and a 9 year old fortnite boy," You grumbled thinking back to your texts with kodzuken.
