"Y/n are you sure you'll be ahead on school work while at the competition?"

Walking down the stairs of your home at 5 in the morning to be greeted by your mothers pestering questions wasn't the best thing in the world.

So forth you only nodded in response as you sluggishly walked towards the kitchen to grab a few granola bars set on the counter.

As you had mentioned to Kenma on your call last night you hadn't gotten a wink of sleep already planning to use one of your friends as a pillow on your ride there.

"What time is it?"

"5:55," Your mom replied casually till she noticed your head perked up almost giving you whiplash as a sudden burst of energy loomed in your body.

"Oh shit I'm going to be late!" You exclaimed quickly grabbing your carry on bag before rushing hastily towards the door.

"Y/n watch your language! Also make sure to take pictures for me!" You could hear your mom yell to which you gave her a thumbs up before running out the door and in the direction of your school.

You were scared out of your mind that the bus and the team were going to leave you as you continued to race down the dark streets the lamp posts being your only source of light.

Whereas to the team it was not a surprise to them as they all watched you rush towards them one minute before boarding the bus clearly out of breath.

"I-I'm sorry. I'm h-here," You were barely able to get out as you dropped your carry on bag on the ground letting out heavy breaths.

"You're just on time!" You could hear Komi exclaim to which your eyes perked up excitedly as you looked at the boy.

"Really?!"

"No we actually waited a few extra minutes knowing that you were going to run late. I was just teasing ya," He began laughing at how overjoyed you had gotten till quickly shutting up as he noticed your irritated look.

As for everyone else they all looked at you not fazed one bit as they had been used to your tardiness.

"Okay well now that Y/n is here we can go!" Coach finally spoke up to which you could faintly hear the noise of people's footsteps as you stared down at the ground in defeat.

"C'mon Y/n lets go!" The voice of your best friend had echoed in your ears as she latched onto your arm dragging you towards the coach bus.

Grabbing your bag in the process you let Rin pull you along as you honestly had no energy at this point.

"Hey hey hey Rin-Chan come sit here!" Bokuto called Rin smiling widely at her to which of course you were quick to notice the faint blush on the girls face as she eyed the owl haired boy.

"It's oka—"

"She would love to!" You cut her off pushing the girl in the direction of the ace, her almost stumbling at your sudden actions.

As she turned around you made sure to send a playful wink her way to which she only stuck her tongue out at you in response.

With that you continued to walk down the aisle spotting an open seat beside your setter best friend happily skipping towards him before sitting down.
