The Adventures of Parenthood with Catra and Adora (and Finn!)

Melog Comes Home

Catra sat on the porch as she gazed up at the sky thinking about her life. Adora was inside attempting to make food for Catra and Finn while Catra relaxed with the growing baby inside of her. They haven't found a way to explain it to Finn, maybe that he has a little sibling coming? Then he would probably ask questions...a stork came to drop him off? Yeah that could do. She placed a hand on her stomach, feeling a small kick and smiling down at her stomach. I feel you, I feel you. My second baby.. she began to purr but they sounded...louder than usual? Catra's ears flicked a as she swiveled her head around to find the source of the loud purrs before turning to her left to see a huge purple face with bright blue eyes staring back at her. She fell back with a yelp before exclaiming "Melog!" The big cat meowed at her.

My friend, it is good to see you. I have returned.

Tears welled up in her eyes as she stood up and hugged the big cat, "Oh buddy I've missed you! I have so much to tell you!" Catra led Melog inside.
"Melog, this is my son. Finn. Finn this is Melog." Catra introduced using small hand gestures, watching as Finn giggled and threw himself at Melog. All three of them began to purr loudly, making Adora pop her head in before gasping. "Melog's back! Are you here to stay for good?" Adora questioned as Melog joined her in a little magic ritual of glowing manes and eyes. The big cat turned it's head to Catra before letting out a series of meows and chuffs.

I am afraid I won't be staying for long, for my home has been corrupted by the horrible Horde Prime and it is my duty to fix it.

As Adora looked hopefully at Catra and Melog it soon faded into a sad but understanding smile when Catra shook her head. "Well, let's have as much fun as possible with Melog before they have to go home." Catra said, picking her son up and placing him securely on Melog's back so he could ride the big cat. The day involved very loud purring from the three cats and cuddling. Lots and lots of cuddles.
