It was always a treat to hear little Sean sing for them.

"Do you...need anybody?" he babbled in the way a child does, much to the delight of the others.

"I think he's stealing me thunder here, to be honest!" Ringo patted his head as he just giggled in response. "He does it way better than I do!"

George made some noise of agreement (which earned him a friendly smack upside the head). "We should have the band come back together with him as our newest member. What do you think?"

"Finally we have a real fifth Beatle!" Paul sighed in relief. "No more talk of who it really is! Should he be a vocalist?"

"Sure, but have you seen the way he plays a xylophone? It's fu - I mean, very incredible."

John laughed from the kitchen as he grabbed the drinks, rolling his eyes at the little slip-up. "Relax, I say that word around him all the time!" Poking his head in, he laughed even harder at their horrified expressions. "I'm just messing with ya."

Paul groaned and nearly bashed his head into the nearby wall. When someone were to look at John Lennon, they didn't exactly think of the word 'dad' coming to their mind when doing so, to be honest. He was crude and loud and rough. However, he actually did try to do his best as a father. Julian was warming up to him and even called to wish both Lennons a happy birthday, so that was some real progress.

"How jealous will every last one of his friends be when they find out he gets to hang out with the best band of all time, I do wonder?" George lifted Sean in the air as he made a sound effect akin to a rocket taking off. Sean squealed in delight and wriggled around happily. "Oi, Ringsy. He looks like a little octopus."

Ringo snorted, shaking his head. "Can you imagine a five-year-old with eight arms and the mess he would make? It'd take all four of us to match him in the arm total!"

"Okay, ready!" John came in to hand off the glasses to the adults and a sippy cup to Sean. "Sorry lads, it's just water for now until the little one goes to bed. Don't want four more children running around here."

"How responsible of you," Paul snarked. "We can still have a toast."

George and Ringo agreed, and they all raised their glasses. "To the Lennons! Happy birthday to both of you beautiful boys!" They bent down as they clinked them together so Sean could clumsily knock his cup against their glasses. "Wonderful!"

"I love you guys, I guess." John bowed his head shyly to hide his small smile. "I-I wouldn't want to spend this day any other way."

"We love you too, Johnny." They all kissed his cheeks as he yelled in protest and Sean giggled up a storm at the sight. Things were good.
