Sugawara's POV

Daichi and I walk down to the train stop in silence. It wasn't uncomfortable. Although, if I was here a couple days ago, I'd be a mess.

As soon as we approach the entrance, we stop walking.

"Well then, Sugawara. Drive safely." I smile and shake my head, "you're acting as if I'm in control of the train itself."

"Well I mean- well you know what I mean."

"I have no idea what you mean but I'll just go with it." After a few moments of just silence, I wrap my arms around his torso, resting my chin on his shoulder. After a while he wraps his arms around me. For the first time in that month, I felt safe. I felt like it was somewhat normal again.

"I-I miss you..." I stutter, holding onto him tighter. Don't let go...please...

"You're not even on the train yet." He jokes, I smile lightly, "I know..." I want to stay.

"Train 11b to Tokyo is now arriving." I pull away and wave gently, "well, that's my call."

"Call me when you get there." I nod my head, "I will...uhm thank you for walking me."

"Of course, I'll talk to you soon." I nod as I wave again, walking away.

As soon as I get close to get on the train, I'm hit in the head, causing me to get dizzy, pulling me somewhere.

"Don't scream. You're going to be a good boy." It's happening again...

I try pushing them off, "g-get off of-" slap! I was hit with a belt I'm guessing...it hurt a lot.

"Remember what I said, and no one gets hurt." The guy puts his hand over my mouth, everything was blur. After I almost got away he hits me again.

"Stay still." He growls, I kick him harder than the last time and run. I button up my shirt quickly and dust myself off while running.

I knock on the door, impatiently waiting. Sora answered it and her eyes widened as she seen my bruised body, "S-Suga! Aren't supposed to be-"

"Yeah...uhm...is Daichi home?" She shakes her head worryingly, "he's at Asahi's...are you okay?" I shake my head, feeling another tear slip down my face, "I-I just need to get him...uhm thank you." I wave before racing to Asahi's house. I knock on his door and he answers it. He was asking questions  of why I was there but I didn't care, I seen him on the couch. I mouthed to him to come outside. Asahi looked worried.

As soon as the door shut behind us I hugged him, crying.

"Woah, woah, woah, what happened?" He asks, he kneeled down on the porch, bringing me down with him.

"E-Everything hurts..."

"You're supposed to be in Tokyo...what are you doing here?"

"I-It almost happened again..."

"What do you-" he realized what I mean and nods, holding me tighter, making the bruises hurt.

"I-I don't want to go back..." he pets my head and I realize this was our way of comforting. Ever since we met, this is what he did to make me feel better. And it worked. I don't know how. But it worked.

"You don't have to. You can stay..."

"Do you know he did it?" I shake my head, "...it was a blur. They had black hoodies and they looked older..."

"How much older?"

"Late thirties? Maybe...I don't know. It was too fast..."

"Are you tired?" I nod slowly, gripping tighter around him. He unwraps his arms around me and takes off his jacket. He wraps it around me and everything felt better. I was safe....right?

I feel myself slowly fall asleep, but my body keeps wanting to fight it. I have anxiety but I can't feel it. I'm scared but I don't know I am. Daichi places my head on his lap to make it more comfortable.

"It's okay...I'll still be here when you wake up, I promise." He intertwined his pinky around mine. I feel myself slowly drifting off to sleep, this time it worked. I was in a dreamless sleep.

Daichi's POV

After Suga went to sleep, I couldn't stop looking. There was marks and bruises all over him. I picked up bridal style, not wanting to wake him up.

Asahi instantly runs over to me, I shake my head, "shh..." he nods, "what happened?" He whispers, I look down at Suga and shake my head again.

"Something personal." Asahi looks at me confused but goes with it.

"Hey- do you have a guest room? I'm pretty sure he's going to crash here tonight." Asahi raises an eyebrow, "what about you?" I sigh, right. I promised him.

"Fine. But do you have an extra room?" Asahi nods, showing me upstairs.

"Thank you." I shut the door and place him on the bed, he didn't let go easily but I managed to have him let go. He groans slightly, pulling the coat more around himself. He was cold. I mentally sigh to myself as I realized I have to pick him up in able to put the blanket over him.

I pick him up again, slowly, still causing him to open his eyes.

"D-"

"Sh sh sh..it's okay. Just getting the blanket." He was as fragile as a baby. I was afraid I'd drop him. I place him back down, but he was still awake so he pulled me down, in fear I'd leave.

"I'm not going to leave...it's okay." I tuck a strand of hair behind his ear and run my fingers through his hair. It was soft. As always.

"Daichi..."

"Yes?"

"I love you..." he was still tired, but it made me flustered...a lot.

"I-I love you too, Sugar. But you need to go to sleep."

"I-I can't.." I shake my head as I lay next to go, "yeah you can. You just did before I woke you up." He smiles tiredly, "how did I do that? It's snowing?" I shake my head, "I don't know." After awhile of silence, his breathing seemed to calm. He fell back to sleep.

Sugar...
