“Camellia?” Harry snuck around the corner; feet soft on their wood floors. He toed past Abigail’s bedroom, stopping by Abraham’s old one. He turned the knob softly, biting his lip at the low click of the lock against metal. Harry smiled, running back to their bathroom to grab a clip that Abigail often left when Louis did her hair.
He ran back, twisting the handle, surprised when it opened. He looked around, brow high, growling at the empty bedroom save for Abraham’s old things.
Harry bolted for the stairs, two at a time, looking for his cunning omega. He looked around the bottom floor, going to the kitchen. He promised Louis he wouldn’t try to sniff him out, but he’d been on a hunt for his omega for ten minutes. Alpha’s didn’t like to hunt this long.
Harry always knew were Louis was. Ten minutes of not knowing were ten too many.
The alpha walked in front of the cabinet where they had their rice. He sat, smiling at the cabinet, at the faint breathing behind it.
Demetrius used to hide here all the time.
Harry pulled the cabinet open slowly, revealing his close-eyed omega. Lord, was Louis not the most beautiful beginning he’d ever met. The omega was curled in the tight space, biting down on his bottom lip hard, eyes shut tight.
He opened one once he felt the light shine inside.
Harry wanted him to giggle and fall into his lap but, instead, Louis growled.
“You cheated.”
“I did not.”
“Do not lie to me Harry Styles.”
Harry huffed, “I had to know where you were.”
“Hmph!” Louis tried getting out, but Harry didn’t let him get far. “Let me go.”
Harry smiled when Louis started laughing. He tickled his omega’s side, kissing on his neck. “Why do you always want to run from me?”
Louis laughed louder, kicking when he was pulled out further. “Harry! It tickles!”
“I think that is why it is called ‘tickling’.”
“Alpha!”
“What are you doing, baba?”
Abigail slid Deme off her back, crossing her arms at her parents. “It is too early for this.”
Louis cuddled closer to his husband, “good morning, babies.”
“Are you okay, ama?” Demetrius sat on the floor, “is baba attacking you?”
“Yes precious.” Louis laughed when fingers tickled his side.
Abigail rolled her eyes, “so in love.” She went to the fridge, “I will make breakfast then.”
“I would rather starve.” Harry kissed Louis’ lips before letting him rise. He looked at his son, going for him next.
“No!” Demetrius shot up, running, “no baba! I hate that.”
Harry grinned from the floor, putting his chin in his hand, “you should not run from me, Demetrius.” He grabbed Abigail’s ankle when she went to kick him, “would you like to walk for the rest of your life?”
