“Matthew,” Harry bowed to his old leader, then to Israel. “Israel. Please, come in.” He closed the door behind them, “and Ezekiel?”
Matthew looked at Israel, “busy at the moment.”
Harry nodded. Matthew was sure Harry was suspicious. The alpha had always been nosy. Matthew came over with Israel more than he did with Mark.
“Please, make yourselves at home.” Harry dipped his head at Matthew, “as this is your home.”
Matthew smiled and Harry smiled back. “Thank you, Harry.” He allowed Israel to help with his coat. “I came to see you. Are the children here? Louis?”
“Louis is at work and the children at school. Abraham is in Barrow with Isaac.” He motioned them to follow him to the living area, “Hungry?”
Israel smirked, “so the word is true. You have been cooking?”
Harry rolled his eyes, “everyone is a comedian.”
“We just had lunch, sir.” Israel bowed before sitting beside Matthew. “But thank you.”
“And Mark?”
“Currently out, enjoying Sitka. He likes it here, more than Barrow.”
“Will you move?”
“You know I will not. I was born in Barrow and I will die there.”
“Hm,” Harry sat on the floor in front of them. “Did you come to ‘hang out’?”
Matthew laughed, “have the children rubbed off on you?”
“Unfortunately.”
The leader grinned, “beautiful.” He crossed his legs, “how are you, Harry?”
“I am a little more than wonderful. A little more than the happiest and most blessed alpha on the planet.”
“Wonderful,” Matthew whispered. “And Louis?”
“The luckiest omega in the world to have me.”
Israel chuckled silently while Matthew shook his head. “You forgot to mention ‘cocky’.”
“That too.”
“Mm,” The dark-skinned alpha sighed, “how is Louis, really?”
Harry pulled on his bottom lip, “not pregnant yet.”
“Have you gone to the doctor? Have you seen Mary?”
“Yes. She cannot help us. Abigail and Demetrius were miracle births. And twins? Unheard of.” Harry straightened his back, just like he did when he was younger, when Matthew called him into his office. “We are not in a hurry.”
“You should not be. You both are very healthy.”
“Yes, especially I.”
Matthew laughed, covering his mouth, “Elements, Harry. You have not changed. It is surreal.”
Harry’s eyes lowered fondly, “I’ve missed you, Matthew. How are you?”
