“Are you kidding me, Abby?” Isaac squinted at his mate, “do you realize what you have done to someone you love? Over someone you hate?”
Abraham dropped his head, staring at the rug, “yes. I realize. I made a big mistake. I will not be going back home.”
“Stop being stupid.”
Abraham sighed, laying back, “a word I have heard quite often today.”
“How is not going home going to help you? How will it help anyone?” Isaac tied his hair in a high bun, “we are leaving to see CJ tonight.” Abraham quickly looked up. “I said I would do this with you, and I will.” Isaac growled, “but you will not leave your family behind because they are also mine. And I will never leave them behind, not for a being who abused my mate and my aunt.”
Abraham swallowed, “I broke my mother’s heart. I cannot face him.”
“And you will never break my aunt’s heart again, ever. You will face him, or you will not face me.” Isaac shook his head, “we will do what needs to be done and leave. We will return home and you will apologize again and again until his heart is unbroken. Do you understand me, alpha?”
Abraham dropped his head, “I understand.”

Abraham looked around the empty streets, “Lord. What am I doing?”
“What you have wanted to do for years.”
“He has a lot of guards.”
Isaac raised a brow, “are you telling me that ‘top of his class’, the most ‘excellent fighter’, cannot take out ten beings?”
Abraham grabbed Isaac by his waist hard, growling, “do not provoke me, Giggle.”
Isaac batted his lashes, whispering, “I know how you get when your adrenaline is high.” He rubbed his nose against Abby’s cheek, “I will be right behind you then we go right back to our hotel.”
Abraham took a deep breath, scenting his mate, before stepping back. He backed away, lifting a finger, “you are dangerous, Isaac.”
Isaac smiled, shrugging, “and you bonded with me anyway.”

Louis ran to the door as soon as he heard a car park. His feet went right through the think snow, bouncing off the floor and into his son’s arms. “Abby…”
Abraham tisked softly, “you are going to get sick, mom.” He rubbed Louis’ back, walking back into the house. He scented the home, stopping out of respect, he didn’t live here anymore.
Abraham went straight to the lit fire place, sitting down with his mother, “may I see you?”
Louis moved back, sitting on the rug, wiggling his cold toes. He wiped his cheeks, “you’re home.” He sniffled, pressing his lips together, “I missed you. I thought -I don’t know.”
“I am home.” Abraham swallowed, taking in his mother. He brought a hand to Louis’ face, stroking his pink cheeks. “How is it that I obtained the most beautiful mother in the world?” Louis’ cheeks lit up more, teary smile following. “I could stare at you forever.”
Louis cupped the hand on his face, sobbing, “I am sorry.”
“Do not be.” Abraham grabbed Louis’ hands, smiling, “are we alone?”
“Your father will be back soon.”
“Is everyone okay?”
“Mmhm. Everyone is fine.” Louis frowned, “it has been a week, Abby. A long week.”
