TOM'S POV
"Tom, you alright?" Ben inquired as I walked past him in the corridor on my way to my bedroom. I scowled at him and he shied away when he picked up my bad mood.
*Slam*
Damn it! I shouldn't have walked away, I should have let her say what she had to say.
There must be a good explanation to justify what Erin had done.
Shouldn't there?
I couldn't help it, I was blinded by my own anger, I left her crying without even glancing back.
"Oh God..." I muttered as I ran my hands through my hair. I took in a deep breath, held it for a moment, before I let it hiss out slowly.
Yes, there must be a good explanation to this. Erin is not one of those girls, she's different.
I know, from the bottom of my heart, she is.
I just believe what happened. I was downstairs for the love of god. Matt looked me in the eye and even joked about me being wrapped around Erin's little finger! The bastard.
And why did it take a week for Erin to muster up the courage to tell me, and we she did she tells me the day before I leave for the World Series!
Oh damn it!

MATT's POV
"You're home early, E." I said as Erin walked in. Erin didn't say anything she just kept her head down and didn't dare look at me.
A small sob escaped her and this got my attention. What happened?
"Hey, what's wrong?" I approached her tentatively. It's been a week since the kiss and it was more than awkward.
Damn it, it's not suppose to be like this. If it was going to be this awkward then I wouldn't have kissed her. But I couldn't help it, she was inches from me and I suppose she was vulnerable that time. I would rather have her friendship than be this awkward, any day.
Erin looked up and her cheeks were stained with tears and her eyes red and puffy from all the crying. I wrapped my arms around her and brought her close. Her sobs had gotten louder until she was full on crying on my chest. I shushed and hushed her but let her cry until her heart was content.
"What happened?"
"I-I told Tom..." She whispered but was muffled by her buried face against my chest.
"And..." I echoed and my chest tightened slightly.
"He walked away... Just walked away."

LEON's POV
Adam, Taylor and I got back to the house only to find Matt hugging Erin in the middle of the front room.
"Erin, what's wrong sweetie?" Taylor pretty much ran to Erin, tore her away from Matt and dragged her up the stairs but without giving Matt a dirty look first.
Matt sighed deeply and slumped himself on the sofa leaving me and Adam slightly baffled by what was going on.
"What's going on, mate?" Adam asked, rather concerned about the girls as he kept looking at the stairs and was having an internal argument with himself whether or not to go upstairs.
"I don't know mate, she came home crying." Matt scratched at the side of his jaws. Adam narrowed his eyes at the latter for a moment, not really buying the story, but he let it go anyway.
"Maybe something to do with Daley." I contributed in, partly for curiosity and partly to see how Matt would react.
Like I suspected, Matt was letting on less of what he really knows.
Interesting.
"Huh, well isn't this what you have been waiting for Spence. Tom finally fucked up." Adam laughed but it did not reached his eyes. It was hollow and Matt just glared at him.
I knew it, Matt has feelings for the slut. Well she's mine but Matt may prove to be useful in breaking her.
Interesting, definitely interesting.
Later that evening, the clingy redhead and Erin were still upstairs and the somber mood that developed over the house sent Adam upstairs too.
"What really happened, mate? Don't give me bullshit, I have known Erin since we were children. I have never seen her cry like that."
Matt looked at me for a moment before he sighed. "E and Tom had an argument."
"An argument?" Yes, he definitely knows more than he lets on.
"I... I kissed her last week. She just told him, looks like he over reacted."
I let out a low whistle. Huh, who would have known he is going to be useful. "Well it's not like the first time."
"What?" He questioned. I couldn't help a smirk tug at my lips but I managed to hide it. He walked right into the trap.
"Didn't you know? Erin and I dated. We went out for two years or so."
"No, I didn't know."
"We'll we did. I broke it up with her, she got with another boy."
"Erin is not like that!" Matt got riled up and his fists tightened into a ball until his knuckles turned white.
"Trust me mate, you don't know her like I do. It was my best mate's party and she slept with him. Whilst I was downstairs." I lied smoothly and Matt seemed to be eating this shit up.
Not very intelligent this one.
"Shit..." Matt muttered.
"I've got a proposition for you. I'll help you get her if you help me too..." I began and this seemed to catch his attention specifically.
"Go on..."
"I know you like her and I can help you with getting her but I want something in return. I want to get my revenge. She humiliated me and she hasn't even apologised about it..."
"What does this revenge include?" The law student in him woke up and he narrowed his eyes at me.
"Nothing drastic and nothing you should worry about. She'll be as pretty as she is now when I'm done... All you have to worry about is how you can get her and keep that useless diver out of the picture."
"Hmm..."
