Chapter 17 - basketball game

Chris walks onto the school ground, which was surrounding by basketball fans and half of the school population.

"Hey!"

Chris turns around to be attacked into a hug by Calum. "Hey Cal you ready?"

Calum pulls away "so ready. We are going to beat those tiger sharks"

Chris high fives Calum as Alec walks over to them.

"Where’s your parents?" Calum asks him.

"Already inside" Alec answers before walking over to Chris "hey baby"

"Hey" Chris giggles snuggling up to Alec.

"Not too much PDA" Calum jokes "don't want the headmaster on you"

The three laugh as Calum jogs off "CATCH YOU LATER CHRIS!"

"You ready for the match" Chris asks smiling a little at Alec.

"I'm pumped" Alec replies happily "but a good luck kiss would make it all better"

Chris laughs leaning up and pecking his lips "happy?"

"Happy" Alec confirms "right I better sneak back into the changing rooms."

Chris pats Alec's chest "well good luck you'll be fine"

Alec's smiles kissing his head before walking back into the crowd of people. Chris sighs lovingly. How could he find someone like Alec?

He walks into the school following the crowd which led to the basketball hall. He grabs a seat near the top sitting next to Matt who's been kind of his friend lately.

"Hey Matt" Chris says smiling at him.

"Hey" Matt says smiling holding out his popcorn. "Want one?"

"Sure" Chris says popping one into his mouth "cheers"

The presenter thing comes out into the middle of the caught "Tonight is the final of the basketball tournament!!" People cheer. "First is the tiger sharks!"

They come out and mostly boos were in the air. Some of their fans were cheering but there wasn't much cheers for that cheer.

"And now..." The presenter says as people keep stamping their feet like drums "your home team. THE LIONS!"

They all come out, Alec coming out first as he's the captain of the team. Chris starts jumping a little. Cheering widely and clapping his hands.

The captains stand in the middle of the court. Alec looks up meeting Chris eyes. Chris smile sweetly and sneakily blows him a kiss. Alec smiles brightly as something goes off signalling that the game has begun.

At half time they were losing, not by much. But it didn't stop the crowd from cheering and supporting the boys. Matt and Chris were singing along, loudly may I add.

Chris looks over at Alec's parents who were sitting at the front. They weren't impressed with the game. Chris could tell them by their faces.

Chris felt sorry for Alec. His parents have put so much pressure on him to get into a good sporting school. It was effecting his health to and Chris got really worried.

"OMG" Matt squeals in delight "it's like one minute left and were only a few points behind"

Chris looks at the scoreboard to see that he was correct. He watched the game as it was coming to an end. Calum dribbled the ball missing some of the players passing it Alec who immediately passed to one of the players to run to the goal.

The player chucks it highly and Alec catches it positioning it before chucking up into the hoop.

The horn went off, they won. THEY WON CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Chris and Matt hug tightly as cheers were filled the air. Chris was so proud especially at his boyfriend Alec.

People started running onto the floor to hug some of the players. Matt pulled Chris along and let go as one of the players hugged him.

"Chris!"

He was tackled into a hug by Calum "congratulations" Chris squeals as he was getting spun around.

"So what about me?"

Chris let's go to see Alec and immediately hugs him "I'm so proud of you"

"Cheers baby" Alec says cupping Chris cheeks "I'm so happy. I have the championship and my boyfriend. You’re the best thing that's ever happened to me Chris"

Alec kisses Chris and Chris smiles tugging Alec closer by the shirt.

What they didn't know was that Alec's parents were watching. Mysteriously and somewhat angrily.

Ohhh the parents found out.
