Chapter 18 - parents vs parents

"Okay" Jack says getting out of the car "you called me halfway through The Vampire Diaries now what's your problem Chris."

"Alec's parents know" Chris says looking behind to see Alec and his parents arguing. "And there not happy."

"Right come on then" Ianto says and the family walk up to Alec's family.

"What seems to be a problem?" Jack asks Alec's parents.

They both look at Jack and the mothers "well your son has corrupted our little Alec"

"He hasn't done anything" Alec buts in pulling Chris closer "and I'm not little."

"Alec stay out of it" Chris tells him softly "my dad's will sort them out."

"And why do you have a problem with my son apparently corrupting your son?" Jack asks.

"Well being gay is a sin"

Jack doesn't get upset with that comment. He's used to the 'gay is a sin' quote which he basically had in his ear constantly in the olden days.

"So being gay or bisexual is a sin" Jack smirks reaching down and grabbing Ianto's hand "well mam I'll have to disagree with you there"

"Oh look I guess that's were Chris has got his sexuality from, poor him" Alec's father says causing Jack to frown.

"Okay look at you son" Jack tells them letting go if Ianto's hand. The parents do as there told, looking at their son who was cuddling Chris "what do you see different?"

"Nothing" the mother replies looking back at Jack.

"Exactly" Jack says "nothing will change about your son because he likes boys. Yes it would be strange for a while however he still would be the basketball captain. He would still want to make you proud."

"This changes everything" his father says crossing his arms over his chest.

Jack scoffs "wow everything changes because of a sexuality well you’re a great father aren't you"

He gets pinned up to the walk then.

"Dad leave him alone" Alec says loudly.

"I am a good father" Alec father growls before pulling away and storming to his car.

Ianto steps in "look just go okay. You don't care for your son like before"

"But papa where will he go?" Chris asks.

Ianto looks back at his son "he can stay with us."

His mother glances at Alec before saying "do you love him?"

Alec looks down at Chris, who looks up at him with wide eyes "yeah, I think I do."

The heels were heard walking far away from the four people. "Come on" Jack says "let's go home."

Jack grabs Ianto's hand and they walk back to the car. Chris and Alec following them slowly.

"I can't believe they just left" Alec says sadly.

"Well you still have me and my two dads" Chris tells him smiling.

"And for that I am eternally grateful" Alec says pulling Chris closer and kissing his lips.

Chris pulls away "oh and I love you too by the way."

He was ready to love again, and this time...

He won't get his heart broken.

Aww poor Alec.

But yay Chris and Alec love each other
