There is some mention about a past terrorist attack in the US. 9/11 was a terrible tragedy and many lives were lots. I don't mean anything by publishing a chapter involving this event.

"You and I both know your task is to kill. It has been for the last fourteen fucking years." One-shot but it did the same as the other bullets. "You think you can last more than two seconds without my shield?" I questioned hazel who nodded.

"Trust me I can." Rolling my eyes I stepped further away from him so he could shoot

Currant

My ability from my knowledge can freeze but also move mass from one location to another. Raising the glass-like katana in my hands I sprinted towards the three people in front of me. More shots were fired and I sighed running at the one of the left slicing his right hand off that held the gun he yelled until I punched his vocal cords. His body fell to the floor.

"You know. I would have thought after all this time there would be a higher skill level sent after me." Sighing as they tried shooting instead of the shots falling to the floor it froze in the air. Turning my head I saw Hazel nut man being choked. Groaning softly I sent the bullet to kill the man choking him. "Nice try." I smiled punching one in the face as I sliced the other in the chest. While one covers his face in pain the other fell to the floor bleeding out.
"You about done?" I questioned stabbing the last one in the chest.

"Just give me." I didn't let him finish as I took a handgun shooting the last one in the heart before tossing the gun behind me.  Hazel turned as I cracked my knuckles.

"Where to now Hazelnut?" Blood polluted the snow as I walked overseeing the watches they all wore.

"Someplace safe for now." He said jogging away from the alley and I followed.

Two hours

Hazel got out a briefcase not too far from the now bloodied alleyway.

"So you're apart of the commission?" I said leaning against a wall picking out the dirt from under my nails.

"Was part of the commission. I'm now happily married." Hazel grabbed my forearm and we were in a new location. A park full of people. "I'm guessing that wasn't an unusual occurrence," Hazel said fixing himself as much as he could.

"Almost once a week. These people really want me dead." Murmuring the last bit to myself I looked around the park. People were happily playing around and yet I wanted to find a new place to hide.

"Do you know why?" I nodded.

"fourteen years ago they killed my parents. I saw it happen and so I'm another target." Extending my arms and bowing a little I then kept on walking.

"They're not the commission?"

"No. But have the same 'ideals' as they would put it." Taking off the coat I had on as the sun beat down on us it was refreshing. "They're called Mobius, ever ending and all that shit." We sat together on a bench looking out to all the happy people. "Why did you decide to help me?" My question made him tilt his head smiling forward.

"You remind me of someone I know. Uncanny resemblance actually." I arched an eyebrow chuckling at him.

"Well, whatever reason I should be going now doubt you know something I don't. Gotta eat something before I time jump." Hazel stopped me from walking away.

"Just a quick note. If you see five tell him I said thanks for not killing me."

"Uh yeah sure." And he was gone. "Who the hell is five," I whispered to myself. Crazy old man. Looping my jacket around the side of my bag I looked to my watch.

1 hour left

Wondering around through the park until an exit came to view I ventured out into the city I'd found myself in. Now, what year was it? A large billboard had an advertisement for a movie. 'coming 2002.' cool so 2001, meaning the money I have on me will do. New York the busy streets it has. Walking towards the inner sections, the more people the less likely to be seen. I'd almost made it past the large business buildings when the largest bang rang in my ears.
Spinning around a wave of dust came washing over although a circle around me protected me from said dust.

"9/11," I whispered out running towards the building as it started collapsing. People kept bumping into me, kicking off the ground I started floating in the air. Half of the building came tumbling down. Making it in time to freeze the building I groaned holding it in place.

"Go now." I groaned to the people scrambled on the floor. They sprinted off after I said that. The larger the object the less time I can hold it for. My feet planted in the ground, shit this isn't going to last much longer. Then my watch beeped, finally. These three hours are going to be the death of me. Sirens were heard but I started blacking out. Shit. That's when the shield around me started fading away the watch was hit by a rock and I groaned letting go of the hold I had.

"Please work." Clicking the turner inwards I was zapped away like normal but landed on a coffee table. "fucking shit." Groaning this out I rolled off the table. "This day can't get any weirder." Getting to my feet once more I cracked my neck making it echo throughout the room.

"Not another one." Hearing this on my right I stopped for a moment looking over. Stretching my back it also cracks.

"Don't know what you're talking about monocle man but forget you ever saw me." Grabbing my bag that had glass covering it and shook it off.

"You're not one of the misguided children who believe I'm their father?" Humming I heard someone clear their throat. Seeing a group of six people one looking younger than the rest I shrugged.

"Nope. So if you don't mind I'll be." The kid before was now in front of me. My eyebrows knitted together. Not from the fact he was now in front of me but because of the height difference.

"How did you time travel without a briefcase?" He spat out and I raised my hand to measure my height. If he's shorter then the people around him and he's around fifteen then how am I a little shorter than him.

"Question... How old do I look?" Ignoring his question I looked the others who have me odd looks.

"I uh I mean around 15 I'd say."

"Shit!"
