We were back in the city in a different car. There are trackers in the Mobius vans so we all squished into a smaller car.
"What was all that about levels." I sighed turning a corner slowly at Diego's question.
"It starts at one. Meaning zero threat and easy kill. All the way to ten. If you're below a seven then Mobius will only try to kill you in discreet or away from other people but above that. Well...." pausing to eat another health bar I took from the academy I swallowed before continuing. "If you get to level ten Mobius will gladly nook a whole city to kill you."
"And what level are you?" Five asked from the seat next to me. Clenching the steering wheel for a moment I bit my lip.
"I'm a seven. More than likely an eight or nine now. Which means daylight and public attacks So we need to find a place to hide that's out of sight if I'm going back to connect both your future and past selves. Anyone know a place?" It was silent for a moment.
"I've got one." Klaus cheered.
....
The seven of us stood in an abandoned building on the second top floor. The only way up was Five using his ability.
"This is your hideaway?" Luther said kicking a rock across the floor.
"I mean yeah."
"It suits you." Five smiled sarcastically and I rolled my eyes getting out the box with the patches.
"It's perfect. Hard to find. Now the moment I leave this will be almost instant for you to mentally travel back." Lifting Allison's hair to the side I placed the patch. "The patches are sturdy but the moment It breaks or is removed the connection is lost." Next was Vanya and Luther.
"How long will we have to change the timeline?" Luther asked and I thought for a moment as Klaus moved his hair to the side for me.
"Everything should happen simultaneously, the moment I leave everything should go back to the way it should." Diago was next and I placed the patch on the back of his neck. Last was five who I moved down his blazer to stick the patch one.
"Please don't let my head explode alright," Klaus said as I started turning the dial of the watch.
"I'm 99% sure that won't happen." Smiling before stopping at 1963, Klaus wasn't fully happy with my response.
"What about that 1%?"
"Time and date please." I spoke ignoring Klaus's concern.
"November 19th 1963, at 2 pm." Nodding I slid the times to the right place.
"Remember to sit down or you might fall to the ground from the link." Glancing up from my watch to the group they nodded. "And I have to be careful of Diego's ex who is the daughter of someone from the commission."
"Yes. Now we need to make sure only to change the advents involving Reginald so try to do everything the same." Putting the patch box back in my bag I zipped it up ready to leave.
"Alright then. See you all soon." Clicking the Turner inwards, a blue light surrounded my body and disappearing from the room I popped out in a new location. Both feet planted on the ground. Great, it's hot. Sighing I scratched the back of my head. Right the address was.... pausing to get out the scrap of paper from my pocket my eyes squinted looking across the street seeing the tv store. Sliding down my sunglasses I walked across the road opening the front door. A bell rang above my head. There were hushed voices that stopped.
"The sign says we're closed or can't you read." Five said and I rolled my eyes.
"Ouch, I'm hurt. Truly I am." Freezing the group I walked up the stairs. "Can't believe it took the six of you four days to get all together. Who knows what shit you've already done." Raising an eyebrow seeing the guy who owns the place raising a gun.
"Stand back. Who are you?" Sighing I used my ability to pull the gun out of his hands from the other side of the coffee table and lift him in the air.
"They told me about you."
"Who's they?" He whimpered and I rolled my eyes tossing the gun onto the desk.
"Them." Featuring my head in the direction of the group I moved his body into the back room. "Now we're gonna have a chat." Giving him a little wave I shut the door. "And if you walk out of there I'll make you eat your own foot." There was a pot of coffee just after the walkway that I poured for myself. The group still stood frozen. "Right let's get this started. Vanya, you're first up." I let her mouth unfreeze.
"What are you going to do?" She asked as the room started shaking slightly oh her powers can still work when she's frozen.
"Looks like I'll have more explaining to do." Moving there faces so they could all look at me I looked around as the lights flickered. "I'm here sent by all of you to fix the future."
"You know somehow I find that hard to believe." Five hissed and I rolled my eyes crossing my arms.
"Vanya get her," Diego said and I sighed.
"You do stop the apocalypse in November 25th 1963 but because you're all idiots thinking visiting dear old dad is the perfect idea you fucked up the future." Clicking my tongue I did a tight lip smile.
"We changed the future?" Klaus said and I nodded.
"What did we do?"
"Well I don't know the fine details but apparently having one conversation with him lead to Reginald adopting seven new kids so." Someone tried to hit me through my shield. "What the... Klaus oh my fucking god I didn't think this would be so difficult. All I have to do is this one thing." Getting out the patch I slapped it onto the back of Vanya's neck. Her body shook for a moment.
"What did you do to her!?" Allison shouted as I moved in front of her sister with a small torch seeing the change in her pupils.
"I linked her current and future body together," I whispered softly as Vanya groaned. "Vanya can you hear me."
"Yes (y/n) I.... it worked." She said and I sighed in relief.
"Thank hippy Jesus. Alright then." Jumping over the couch to Luther I got out the small patch.
"Woah woah woah what are you doing," Luther said and I unfroze Vanya. "A little help here." Luther said to Vanya.
"It'll all make sense soon." she said and that made my eyes roll as I stuck the patch down.
"That's one way to freak them out." Doing the same eye check to Luther before moving on.
"You're brainwashing us." Klaus said and I shrugged.
"Kinda I guess. Although you wouldn't believe me." Sticking the patch onto Allison next then Diego and Klaus I went around to Five last.
"Whatever this is you're doing you're dead." He grits his teeth together and I sighed smoothing the patch down.
"Hope I get a thank you at some point." I breathed out standing close to make sure everything is in working order.
